These blocks are great! The quality is very nice and they have a very strong finish on them which is helpful since I bought them for my destructive son. I love that they come in a drawstring bag inside of a tub, this makes it easy to keep them all together. They also are just a beautiful toy you can leave out in the open and not distract too much from the decor of your home (unlike the ugly bright orange plastic toys he has). Also, I bought this for my one year old son who puts everything in his mouth. I know other reviews warned of a choking hazard but only a few pieces could he actually fit in his mouth, and its easy enough to pull those out and save them for when he gets older. The majority of the blocks are too large to place entirely in a child's mouth. The great thing about the blocks being a tad smaller is that a one year old can hold them in his tiny chubby hands, The rectangular block is about the size of our Apple TV remote.

These are real wood and feel sturdy. What I didn’t take into consideration is that these are small compared to the old blocks that we already have. In the attached picture you see the old blocks are at the top and the new ones at the bottom. The new ones should be fine for my two year old, but I will probably look at bigger blocks for my four year old. The pictures on the Amazon site show small children playing with them so I should have paid attention to that. I’m giving the blocks five stars because the quality seems good and the size difference was not a deception.

My 18 month old kept swiping the Jenga game blocks to play with. So I purchased these for her. They come in a zip-tie bag inside the cylindrical box shown. She can stack them, sort them by shape, try to count them, and enjoy playtime with her 6 year old sister and 10 year old brother. The bag has been useful in teaching her to pick up her own toys. She enjoys carrying the bag around with her and picking up her blocks. She, of course, dumps the bag back out and starts all over. The day we got these in the mail, the kids sat and played for two hours, quietly. A rare occurrence in my home. I love these things. Wish I had bought them sooner.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good value for the price! However, they are significantly smaller than expected

These blocks are a hit out of the park. My daughter told me her sons 5 & 2 would not use them. Well, I took the "bull by the horns" as they say and bought them. Well, They have played with these blocks everyday since I bought them. The are a BIG hit!!! Yhe blocks are painted in bright colors with a few not colored at all. They are good size and perfect for building big or small structures. The color stays on and is free of anything to harm children and Mom or Dad if they put them in the mouth. I highly recommend these blocks. I am going to order another set to double the blocks. They also are inside a green bag inside the box they come in.

At first I though100 was going to be too much, it's actually fine doesn't even seem like it's that much. I even got another 80 from Walmart. Now I had my doubts after seeing some reviews about 2yr olds getting too frustrated and blocks falling too easily. I almost didn't get them thinking that maybe the sides weren't even and it was made poorly so that's why they couldn't stack properly. Not the case at ALL. So reading those reviews again, I'm thinking. Maybe the kids got too excited and wanted to build a tower as big as they can. Witch in reality it isn't going to be that big because the blocks are small. But my 2yr old has no problem even my 9mth old has no problem (of course after about 3-5 he knocks them down cause he just loves to see them fall). Besides a little challenge is good for the mind. Also they are pretty light. A big plus for our family cause we like to build a "town" and kids destroy it pretending they are monsters. So when blocks fall on them they don't get hurt. Also I read about blocks being too small. And yes there are 3 that look like bells that my 9mth old could fit in his mouth. But it's only those 3 so I simply took them away.

These are cute and a good price, but the blocks are so much smaller than I expected them to be! I was thinking that the cubes were going to be about 3/4 to an inch per side length and they were about half that if not smaller! Maybe that wasn’t the description but I did not see that. These are blocks for kids old enough to not put them in their mouth.

We've had these blocks for a few months now, and our 18 month old son really enjoys them. They've been chewed on and the paint doesn't come off, and the wood isn't chipped or anything so these are really high quality blocks. He's not quite old enough to start stacking them, but he still enjoys playing with them everywhere and his cousins really like to play with them as well. It's been fun to see him learn with these! The container is perfect and a smaller size so when they're in the container they don't take up tons of room. We love these and would totally buy them again!
