LIVIVA Low Calorie Keto-Certified Organic Shirataki Spaghetti 14 Ounce (Pack of 6)

As a diabetic, I am always looking for good substitutes for my favorite carbs, especially pasta. These shirataki konjac noodles are the best sub I have found for my pasta-tooth! The texture is great, and they are super easy to prepare! Just open the pakage, drain, rinse, then add to whatever sauce you like. I have used them with marinara, alfredo sauce, pad thai, and peanut sauce so far, and I have not been disappointed yet! They keep their texture and firmness when reheated later. I have purchased the penne noodles, the spaghetti, and the angel hair, and they are all very good, although they do cost significantly more than regular pasta. For me, they are totally worth the cost to be able to eat my favorite italian dishes without worrying about my blood sugar!

I love these noodles, which is why I wanted to buy in bulk. I purchased 2 sets of 6 packs. When I opened the noodles, half of them were dried up and dehydrated, essentially inedible. I tried to submit for return, but this product is ineligible for return purchase. The photos show a “normal noodle” and then the multiple packs of gross noodles. What a waste of money!! Try miracle noodles instead.

This is my go-to "pasta"; I use it to replace spaghetti in my diet. It is easy to use--rinse in a colander, drain, dry by rolling in a clean dishtowel, and add to whatever dish is being prepared. When I serve spaghetti and meat sauce, I just add it after rinsing, draining, and drying to the pan with the meat sauce and let it simmer a couple of minutes. It absorbs the flavor of the sauce (or whatever it is being used in). It does not have a flavor of its own nor does it smell like anything. It's like regular spaghetti which doesn't have much flavor or smell either. I really love that I can purchase this in its plastic container (which includes two separate bags of spaghetti) and it keeps in the kitchen cabinets. Great product with only 1 gram of carb per serving. This product is a main stay in my kitchen. It also makes great parmesan shrimp with spaghetti!!

Updated - since discovering these at the grocery store I've placed two online orders. When the product arrives I have to open and check each 7oz pouch. IF THEY ARE SHRIVELED U OR YELLOW OR BROKEN DOWN DO NOT EAT. The noodles should be white, there should be no air bubbles in the pouch, and the color should be the same as the picture here online. If the water and noodles are yellow-ish, that also means it's bad. I don't know why though. Original Review: I discovered these 3/14 at the store when finding every shelf empty of food items on the pasta isle except for lasagna noodles. These are fantastic. They are portion packed and made with the same fiber you can buy in an herbal supplement capsule but the noodle portion/serving itself works 100% better than taking the herbal supplement in capsule form; I'm not sure why. I do wish the price were lower or they sere sold in case quantities.

Starting off, I absolutely love these noodles and have found them to be a fun and healthy asset to my Keto diet. I have ordered these twice now online, and both times have been disappointed in the quality. Some noodles have a great color, quality and hold their shape, with no deformation. The others were the opposite, they dissolved right in the package and just squished apart, with a brown yellow color, instead of the grey-ish white color, they are supposed to have. The first time I ordered these, a few packages had this problem, and I chalked it up to the company switching their packaging. So I gave it a second go, and ordered again, this time out of 6 packages, 4 whole packages had this problem. Therefore, given the price of this item and that it is not eligible for return, I wanted to make others aware. I'm hoping this kind of issue is temporary and able to be resolved, as would like to continuing ordering this product, but only if this issue has been fixed. Hope this helps.

I ordered the spaghetti noodles and ended up getting the rice shaped shirataki. Oddly enough that's what I was actually wanting to try but didn't want to pull the plug, so I'm not that mad about it. Although, I hope this doesn't happen in the future. The rice shaped shirataki was better than I thought, although it tastes very bland. Luckily it had no smell of dead fish like Miracle Noodles does. It looks and feels like rice, but I would compare the texture to tapioca balls. I think it would be great in a curry or another dish that has a lot of sauce to cover this in. To the eye it definitely gives the illusion of rice. Giving it 4 stars because I did not receive the intended product.

I had previously bought this exact product at my local natural food store. It was great! Good texture and taste and looked like noodles. So I decided to order 6 packages on Amazon. BIG MISTAKE! THOUGH IT'S THE EXACT NAME BRAND PRODUCT, IT IS TERRIBLE. OF COURSE, IT'S PAST THE RETURN DATE BECAUSE i USED MY LOCALLY BOUGHT PACKAGES FIRST. NOW i'M STUCK WITH 5 TERRIBLE PACKAGES.

I'm really puzzled by the negative reviews on this product. This is an FBA product, so if you received less than the number specified (6 cases), you should work that out with Amazon, and not trash the product. Regardless, in my order, I did receive 6 cases. And, the taste is the closest thing you'll find to real pasta that is not made from grain. Even rivals the best rice based gluten free pasta and at a fraction of the carbs. We loved this, kids loved this. We'll definitely reorder, and this is now a staple in our keto home.

I am on ketogenic diet and this is my go to faux spaghetti brand. It doesn't really give out much flavor and has this pungent smell when opened, you need to wash it on running water for a few seconds to get rid of it, It also doesn't really absorb the sauces much and has this slimy bite to it, but this works really great as noodle substitute when I am tired of eating zucchini pasta. This is a staple in my pantry. I love this product. I recommend it especially for those on keto diet.

We have ordered this item six times previously and enjoyed them very much as a staple in our modified Keto diet. Not sure if they changed the formula or just shipped the wrong item but this item was awful !!! As soon as we opened the package we saw it was much smaller and thinner than previous orders; not even close to spaghetti diameter but much, much smaller. Even smaller than Angel pasta. That would be OK but they weren't chewable at all, almost stiff/crunchy like eating dental floss! In fact, halfway through dinner I had to go and grab some dental floss to clean out short (1/2") strings of this stuff stuck between many teeth. Now maybe this was just old but I really think it's a totally different product than we've had before and it's virtually inedible! The final insult is when we went to request a return we find out No Returns available because it's a food item. I'd beg to differ that this is actually food but it definitely won't be ordered to our house again. And the remaining packages are now garbage I guess. Thanks Amazon!

I purchased several of these, as I usually do. When I opened TWO of the packages, the pasta was dry and almost brittle as though it had been frozen. Since I did not open it right away to eat them immediately, I only realized tonight as I opened the package. When I put it in water, the spaghetti did not separate, it was almost like one solid piece but it wasn't. Frustrated that I cannot return of get my money back. Will now purchase locally, this way if I need to return due to an issue, I will not be out almost 5 bucks for two servings of pasta. Hugely disappointed that I cannot even contact anyone. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON - GO TO HEALTH FOOD STORE. Just opened second package and same issue. Boiled it and still stayed slightly crispy, hard and not eatable at all. WASTE OF MONEY........

First time I used this product after rising well I soaked it in hot chicken broth for 1/2 hour ..then I put meat sauce on it..delicious..followed the Same procedure yesterday it was like rubber bands. I will try again only soak them longer.follow up ordered 4 packages August 30 2023.....3 were excellent..one was discussing white slime mush had to throw it out. Expire date is Dec 11..2023.all 4 package stored in the same way..not happy will probably not buy again..

I've ordered this in the past without issue but the latest batch gave me two different shades of noodles (despite same packaging date). Unfortunately no option to return the darker brown bag :-( These have been good in the past, but now I'll have to find a different brand since I don't trust their quality. They stink of fish yes, best to rinse thoroughly and squeeze out water with paper towel. Great in dishes that you load with sauce to mask. They slightly upset my stomach but nothing major.
