not for play, unfortunately
Loved these dolls online; such a different and detailed take on the characters. I ordered Alice and Tinkerbell for my 4 1/2 yr old daughter with the intention for them to be played with. Unfortunately, when I recieved them I decided to send them back. While still very charming and with lovely outfits, they really don't seem to be meant for play. I could see the arms being able to be pulled out of their "sockets" easily as well as the head and the arms were hollow. The antenna wer actually rather thin flimsy wire and I wouldn't recommend ever removing the outfit, not that you would want to, but your child might. My daughter isn't untypically rough with her toys but still, i think these would be better off as displays. Yay, for you collectors, sad for moms who would like to find pretty dolls that are an alternative to barbie.
