It does ok, a lot better than doing it by hand; but it's not all that great either. I have a fairly large truck, so I needed a big buffer; but most people(car owners especially) should look for one small than 10 inches. The package was opened, however it hadn't been used or used very much. The Styrofoam disk is kinda keep and not interchangeable, so you'll need to stock up on bonnets. I've used it twice now and it's got the job done, but would definitely would not recommend it to someone who wants a serous buffer/polisher.Pros;-Cheap-Easy to use design-Fast Shipping-QuiteCons;-Cheap-Doesn't feel like it's really 3000 RPM-Kinda of hard to get into tight placesBottom Line; You get what you pay for. I needed it to buff out a few scratches.
