Can the lego technic porsche 911 rsr 42096 be motorised and also have lightailing light set installed? if yes, what would i need to buy to do this?

Yes there is tons of space inside the model to install motors and lights

How many bags are in the box?

Between 10 & 20 I think, my son did it as soon as he got it. Lots of little bits I remember him saying. He was more excited over the book that came with it. I vaguely remember him saying the bags weren't numbered, but again he liked that, as made him go slower! I think it took about 5hrs for him to build.. when I created the campervan I can say it took me a damn sight longer than my 13yo took to build this Porsche... well worth the money, blinking amazing build

How do I know which bag to open if not numbered?

In the back of the manual you will find a list, with detailed pictures, of all of the parts in the set. My method, although long winded for some; is to open each bag and count the parts inside alongside the list of contents in the manual. Whilst in the process of checking that you have all of the parts listed, you can number the bags and pencil the bag number next to the parts in the list before placing to the parts back in the, now numbered, bag. When you come to the build, you simply refer to the bag number in the list and pick the part you want from the bag you have listed. Worked for me and meant I didn't have to search through the may parts whilst building.

Does this model fit on car transporter?

no - this is different size - on the car transporter LEGO 42098 only the small models like corvette (LEGO 42093) are fitting
