We would need at least a year to get through 240 bags.** A: The box I just received has an expiration date of Nov 2019. They come in sealed packets of 40 tea bags/packet. I had never heard of it here in the US before that. I wouldn't exactly consider myself a tea aficionado, but I do like to have a cup or two in the evening every day. So, I ordered a box to give it a try. Though reportedly strong tea, brewed with a single bag Typhoo was not quite strong enough for my tastes (perhaps b/c I'm an avid coffee drinker throughout the day ???). I suspect most will find it "just right", though, especially if you like Earl Grey, which it reminds me of with just a hint of citrus. For my tastes, I've found that brewing it up with two pods per cup works out, though. Give it 5-minutes to steep and it comes out almost as dark as coffee. Brewed this way it's reminiscent of, yet stronger still than, the Twinings Irish Breakfast I'm accustomed to drinking. And that suits me just fine. Served this strong, BTW, that hint of citrus I mentioned disappears. Nevertheless, unless you like your tea really, really strong, and take milk and sugar with it, it's probably best to stick to a single pod (or cut down the brewing time with two pods for something in between). I'd imagine that will suit those who prefer a more nuanced cup of tea than the intense brew I like. Regardless, it really is quite nice either way, especially for the price, and obviously quite flexible in adapting to different preferences.
