I've played electric guitar for 35 years; I mostly play fusion-inspired material and employ a wide variety of advanced techniques. In all this time I've learned one thing: Many guitarists will pay through the nose for any kit - guitars, pickups, strings, whatever - if they feel it gives them any sort of edge. It's all psychological. Decent strings are decent strings; a steel core wrapped with nickel. And these Adagio strings are decent. No outlandish claims, no buzzwords, no go-faster stripes. Just no-nonsense quality strings. Give 'em a quick wipe of fast-fret when you first fit them, try to remember to wipe them down after playing, and they'll look, last, feel and sound just as good as any top-tier electric guitar string out there. And at half the price. Give 'em a try. You might be surprised!

I really love these strings. They are of a good quality and great value for money. These are my "go to" strings from now on.

These strings are great. I used to use Ernie Balls but i thought id take a chance on cheaper strings as i have a few guitars to keep going. They last longer and dont go off as quick as as Ernie Balls do. And sound and feel no different. I tried Ernie balls again on my main guitar a few months ago just to see if it would be any better and it was not. These strings are the best.

Great product at a great price

I’m very pleased with these electric guitar strings. I’m using them on a three string cigar box guitar. The 24 32 and 42 are the perfect gauge and thickness. Also, the three strings are wound allowing me to get the perfect cigar box sound. They hold tuning really well and I’m finding them easy to bend. I did break two strings in the first week, however that’s probably down to my aggressive play style. Overall great playability, highly recommended.

Great price for one of the best affordable string sets and having three sets is an added bonus.

I play the guitar a couple of times a week, at home, stood with a strap, reasonably loud and sometimes for friends and family These sound as good as any I have used, last as long as I want them to (usually 4 to 6 months) hold the note quickly after restringing and I have used them for years. They sound better on an expensive guitar so it’s the sound box making the difference. For people like me they do a great job

I have tried a lot of different strings on all my guitars (classical, bass, acoustic, lp/strat) and these strings are, hands down and no contest, the best by far. You t a great tone from them and they hold their tuning so well. They also settle in very quickly and last long. I have read some of the negative reviews, and the majority are user errors or people who don't know what they are doing...at best they are just the one unlucky person who got a dodgy pack, which happens with any string manufacturer. do yourself a flavour and get some of their strings.
