Very nice unit, easy to read screen. Turns itself on when detecting the fence voltage. Shuts itself off when done. A++ unit. Don't buy the cheaper ones, this is the one to have.

I choice this fence voltage tester and had read through many reviews on other units and this unit was the one I picked. Priced reasonable and arrived in a timely fashion. The tester does what it is suppose to do and sure makes it easy to check the voltage in the fence wire system that I have at three locations for our chicken and ducks. Works well and I do recommend anyone who is looking for a good tester this is one you should consider.

Much better than the LED light fence readers. Can see it full sunlight and very easy to use. Works great on electrical poultry netting! Only gave 4 stars because the tester only goes to 9900V :-( Wish it went higher.....

Easy to use and accurate measurement. No worries about getting shocked while trying to check fences. Convenient to carry in farm buggy so always handy. Numbers are large bright and easy to read.

I have three other 'simple' electric fence testers. Two of them will click to indicate a charge - if you listen very carefully. The other has tiny lights to indicate the level of the charge. The one that clicks lets you know it is working but not how powerfully. The one with the lights is very hard to read - even when you know the fence is charged you can't really tell that because the lights are so faint - and typically you will be trying to read this in daylight. But this one is a no-brainer. You know for sure the fence is working, and you know precisely how much the charge is by the easy-to-read digital screen. I bought a second one - one for the tractor and one for the pickup. Very glad that I found this after being frustrated with the others.

Second use of this on a HOT Texas day. I left it on the tailgate while connecting fence. I'm not sure if it got too hot or what but it would no longer work when I connected it. I had just used it the day before and it worked perfectly.

Easy to use. Remember not to pull the rod out of the ground by pulling on the wire, it will come out of the unit.

Works great, and fair price. Doesn't have fault finder but still a good unit.
