My father was on the development team for Mobile 1 so I knew it was a great oil. Over the years I think Mobile has diluted quality of Mobile 1 so I sourced for a replacement. Motul ECO-LITE is great. I see no sludge buildup or varnish deposits on engine parts. Also it has improved my milage I get in my Subaru Crosstrek, Subaru Forester and Honda CR-V AWD. I have gained an average 3 MPG in the city driving. I change my oil every 6,000 miles and the oil less dirty than the Mobil 1 when I drain it. It still has a dark amber color to it in stead of the dark black color of the Mobil 1. Its not cheap oil but using good oil is a lot less expensive that major engine problems caused by cheap low grade lubricant.
