gets the job done....so originally i thought this was missing one of the plugs (description says it comes with 2). turns out one of the plugs came already inserted - mystery solved.ball came very tightly creased...but i assume the creases will come out after being inflated for a few days.i bought the one without pump because i have plenty of bicycle foot pumps around. it seems you need some special nozzle to fit this though, perhaps something that you would use for like pool toys or something. i managed without the nozzle...but it is a bit of a pain to hold the bicycle pump in place.so far seems like a quality item, will update after some use

DANGEROUS. I bought this ball for my wife 5 months ago. She works in an office and sitting all day gives her back pain. She discovered 25 years ago that if she used one of these balls for a desk chair, she did not have back pain. She has had 4 or 5 different balls; over time each ball began to lose air, and was replaced. Today the "anti-burst" ball BURST without warning. My wife landed on the floor, hard. Note: the ball did not lose air or deflate; it burst open all at once. Now the ball is in two separate pieces. This is a SERIOUS DEFECT. We still don't know the extent of my wife's injury.

Used the ball for a home-office chair. When left in even minor sunlight, the surface of the ball adheres to the paint of furniture. It ended up sticking to my table and another chair and took the paint off both where the surface of the ball had made contact with them. Then it rolled and smudged my carpet with the blue paint that it had pulled off my furniture. What a mess. So disappointed.

This exercise ball seems of a very good quality. Has an odor that seemed to dissipate within a day or so. I bought the one recommended for my height. However, it really is not big enough for me. I am five feet four, and the 55 was recommended for my size. When I sit on the ball, my legs are too close to the floor, crunching my back. I had one before that was much larger and I could sit on quite comfortable as a chair..not this one. That is my only issue with it. As I said, it feels like a very good and sturdy quality. Husband pumped it up for me. He had to buy the 'needle' thing for his pump. But once we got started it wasn't too difficult. Better if two people can be involved in blowing it up. Came with exercise photos.

The GOOD Size was good. And The minor smell either went away or I got immune.The BAD: it’s made of very cheap quality material which feels like it would not only rip any minute but it will wear very quick.The ball rolls by itself. Can’t keep it stay in place as it’s not made properly.The material is such that it immediately starts taking paint from any painted place onto the ball.The air leaks but very slowly over days and slightly but still you will have to keep pumping back ever few days. I have a electric pump so it didn’t bother me too much.

I sat on this ball every day (8hrs a day) for over a year. I spent extra time bouncing on it at the end of my pregnancy too. Then my cat scratched it so it was punctured and irreparable. I bought another one because I enjoyed it so much for the past year. I use it as my desk chair and it helps tremendously with my posture and core strength. I'm 5'4" and I have the 65cm ball and it's the right size to use as a chair.

As others have stated, it is sticky out of the box. The enclosure states not to allow it against paint and I can see why.... it'll stick and destroy your painted wall. I enjoy it for core exercise, my son loves fooling around on it. So far it has endured our abuse for a month. I have a bike pump, the kind you stand on and pump up and down so I figured I could use that and didn't buy the model with the pump included. Well it took the two of us quite some time to pump this up, it was exhausting! Maybe the one with the included pump is easier?? I followed online resources to get the right size for my height, and although it's got me just about at 90 degree angles at hip and knee, it feels slightly small. However I think it's the right size for exercise.

I did NOT know that you shouldn't try this ball if you have a hip replacement. BUT my doctor set me straight. Nonetheless it looks a great product. The color is delightful, I chose a light purple lavander choice. I have a pump so I am sure it wouldn't have been hard to inflate. Since I was under doctor's orders not to even try it. I am returning it in it's original shipped status. I am giving it 5 stars because I am sure it's a wonderful ball.
