Review: New Roku can play on very old tv - My old Roku is no longer being supported, so I had to get a new one. They no longer make them with the red, yellow and white RCA plug-ins and I needed to go from my Digital adaptor to the ancient (sentimental attachment) tube tv. This adaptor worked fine, though I had to locate a way to plug it in to an electric source. (yet another adaptor) The picture is fine and being able to get all of the Roku channels for that elderly tv is a relief.

A: It should, in theory, give you a screen with your Firestick boot up, or other info.

Remember, this only adaptes 1080P down... You can't use 4k or Ultra High Def.

My old Roku is no longer being supported, so I had to get a new one.
