Nice shelf, very poor fittings!
Firstly, I will start by saying that once its up, it looks nice. However, the fittings are poor, and the instructions are rubbish.To start with i didnt think there were are instructions, but they were hidden in a fold in the box.The fittings consist of a threaded rod and a thing it screws into. It turns out the thing that it screws into should go into your wall. In theory when the threaded rod goes in, it will expand and hold the wall. However there is no guide to the size of drill bit needed. It turns out the 10mm drill i tried first is a bit too big.However, once these are in the wall, the shelf should then just slide on. there does not appear to be any way to secure it, it just sits there. As i bought a 3 foot long shelf it has 3 of these rods. By luck my shelf fits well. I wouldnt bet on it being right a second time.But, once up, its a nicely finished plank of walnut, and thats just what i wanted, so i gave it 4 stars

Only for brick walls
No plasterboard fixings - does not state in description this is only for a brick wall. Offered a refund after attempting to contact seller and offered a less amount of what I paid for the shelf
