So far it's great! Will update otherwise.
I ordered this over a month ago now. At first I was very concerned about reading the reviews and seeing some of the photos about broken boards or wood chips. However I'm glad I ended up buying it anyway because it is a great board (so far, I will update if that changes). It's pretty large and will fit most cuts of your choice of protein fairly easily as well as a few veggies or other sides in the small slots on top. It is very sturdy and if placed properly on a table that is level or a cloth kitchen rag that is slightly damp will feel even more secure. Cleaning is super easy and quick, I tend to just use warm water with soap and immediately dry it off with paper towels and then leave it out for a while to air dry on a table (Do NOT leave it too damp or wet!! As with any wood that is left wet it will create mold over time or weaken and warp the wood).Again it's a great board and I'm glad I took the reviews about it with a grain of salt. I'm not sure what people are doing to get that many wood chips out of their board or for the boards to split in pieces. However I would suggest not chopping larger cuts on this board especially heavy chopping through bone as that may obviously cut through the wood causing wood chips to come up a bit. I also don't know how the boards are splitting considering that unless you are cutting off the edge of a table or leaving it too wet and then storing it there really is no reason for it to break. This is not a plastic board so you also shouldn't put it in a dish washer and it's also not made of metal so treat it well.I will be updating the review if anything changes but so far so good and I am absolutely in love with this board and would highly recommend it.

Good board, but scratching after two months
I've had this large sized bamboo cutting board for two months now and it's good! However, I am starting to notice small cuts in the board already, so I will update this review down the road if it gets worse. Bacteria can colonize in cuts/grooves and if it's already being cut up by my knife, it's likely not a good board for my knife either. You do need to oil this cutting board when it arrives, I used the mineral oil by Thirteen Chefs sold here on Amazon. I continue to oil the board bi-weekly so far to avoid it drying out, although I use my board heavily at least 5-6 days a week, so it's likely you would only have to oil your board monthly if you use it lightly or for specific meals. Another minor thing that contributed to the lack of 5 stars is the drip catcher/ juice groove around the edge of the board is almost not noticeable, so if that is an important feature to you, you may want to pass on this specific board. It goes without saying, but HAND WASH ONLY! Do not subject a bamboo/wood cutting board to excessive heat or moisture or it will become brittle and split/crack with time. These boards are good if you care about your knives and are looking for a more eco friendly/wallet friendly option compared to hefty solid wood boards or damaging glass/stone boards. If you care more about convenience, I suggest a type of high-end plastic board that can be put into the dishwasher.

Great for those who don't want to drop $100s on a fancy end grain board.
Been an enthusiast home cook for about 6 years now, but it is so much better with the right tools.I got this cutting board and the Victorinox Fibrox Pro chef's knife and now I look forward to cooking dinner all day. This board provides a solid, sturdy base and when paired with a good sharp knife is a dream to work with. The built in compartments weren't as useful as I was expecting but the reverse side provides a great, large enough but not to large surface to work with.Nice and sturdy despite it's relative thinness compared to those 1-2inch boards but it makes it easier to handle, and much easier to clean and store.Plus, it's cheap, so if it ever gets too worn down it's easy to replace and it makes a great gift. I've given out two of them already.

Compartments are too small.
Should have been 1 compartment instead of small ones. Compartments font hold much.

Nice Board
This is a really nice board. I initially purchased it as a gift for someone else, and then decided I wanted to get it for myself. I'm even contemplating gifting a third to another person.Pros:Looks really niceStays putSolid but not too heavyCons:The dips for the different types of food are much smaller than I thought to the point where they aren't super functionalThe brand name is etched into the board and is really goofy. HHXRISE. I don't like branding on stuff that doesn't need it, especially when the brand name sounds like a knock-off brand of some kind. I'm considering trying to sand it out, but don't want to damage the board.

My mother in law like it bamboo board
My mother in law always cook for the family but she has always been using one of those plastic cutting board, but she never liked the quality of it and asked me to buy a better quality one or a wood one. I decided to buy a bamboo one since they are more ecofriendly and much better quality. When i presented the board to her she absolutely love it,and immediately started chopping and trying it out. It has been around a week since i gave it to her and she has been saying how good the board is and she loves that it has three hole so she doesn't need more bowls to store her chopped vegetable in.

Amazing cutting board!
This thing is NUTS. You can essentially slap an entire dinner's worth of ingredients on this board and have room to chop them all - and I haven't had anything stick to or stain it! To keep it conditioned, I rub a small amount of warm mineral into all sides the board - after handwashing & drying - and wipe off any excess.I'm not really a fan of actually serving on boards, so I use the three compartments for holding smaller items when cooking - chopped herbs, minced garlic, nuts, etc. It'd most likely be fabulous for charcuterie or cheese boards if you so choose!

A desirable bamboo board
This is a very solid bamboo cutting board with good weight. When it is placed on the countertop, it will not slide easily. The board is thick, and it really supports the knife. I like that it comes with 3 small compartments. When I am cutting something small, I donβt need to use extra plates to hold it and it saves me space on the counter. It is also very easy to clean. A quick rise with hot water can easily remove the greasy stuff from the board. It is a very desirable addition for the kitchen.

Bamboo cutting board
The cutting board is light and holdable. When I first opened it, I was surprised to find that it was packaged very neatly, and could be gifted. Since it was made out of bamboo, the number of knife scrapes decreased. My chopped up vegetables are no longer scattered around the board, instead, I placed them into the convenient slots. The board is the perfect size for our sink, making it easy to wash. You can use both sides. We use one side to cut meat, and the other to chop vegetables. Also, it was fast to arrive. Overall, I think it is a very desirable bamboo cutting board.

Disappointed another money wasted
There is not even a coat on the wood, splinters appears quite easily, these pieces of wood always gets stuck on my skin while cleaning, a real hazard. The edges are not finished ideally as well, they are sharp, difficult to grasp as it can hurt your hand when you are in a hurry. I wish I could return this disappointing item.

The board cracks
I wiped with cloth and water and oiled it before first use. Just cut vegetables a couple of times and every time wiped it with a wet cloth and let it air dry on the counter. It is not even a week of use and it has started developing cracks already. Not sure how long this would last. Not worth the cost. I will be returning it.

OK
I wanted a large cutting board and the inserts at the top seemed like they could be useful for keeping things organized. Only problem is the wood in the inserts is still a bit rough so small bits of garlic, onions, chilis will stay stuck when you try to scrape it out. They're also only really useful if you're cooking for one as they can only fit about half an onion or 1 pepper / tomato in them. I wanted to like this cutting board, but I wish I had just gotten a solid block in the same size.
