Kitten Favorite: Fancy Feast Wet Kitten Food 🐱
Fancy Feast kitten wet food has been a great option for my foster kittens. They love the taste and it has been helpful while transitioning kittens from formula to eating on their own. The texture is easy for young kittens to eat, and it’s convenient to have individual portions ready to serve. My kittens have enjoyed this food, and it has been a reliable choice during the weaning process. I would recommend it for kittens who are ready to start exploring wet food.

A Delicious Cat Food with Enough Moisture for a Good Texture!
This is the Fancy Feast variety that my new kitten likes the best. She eats other flavors but seems to eat this one the most and finishes a whole can sometimes! Kitten seems to enjoy eating this food because it has just the right moisture level and so the texture is as important as the taste. The size of the cans are the right size for a kitten and she seems to digest the food fine as well. Sometimes she is going through three cans a day when she's really active. But normally she was eating two cans a day with extra dry food too. ~The Rebecca Review

Our kittens lick the bowl clean
We recently brought home a pair of 8‑week‑old kittens and after trying a couple of options, we settled on this turkey paté from Fancy Feast. So far it’s been a solid winner in our house. Here’s my detailed take: ✅ What I like Strong acceptance: Right out of the gate, both kittens were enthusiastic. One reviewer said “My kitten loves this, and I mean it LOVES IT!” Soft, kitten‑friendly texture: The paté format is great for little mouths and baby teeth — super easy to chew, which one review notes as a plus for young kittens transitioning from formula. Kitten‑appropriate nutrition: The product is marketed as “100% complete & balanced” for kittens, so it gives peace of mind that it meets the growth needs of young cats. Good value‑for‑purpose: Many users say it’s an affordable go‑to that kittens readily eat, which is nice when you’re going through cans regularly. ⚠️ Things to keep in mind Flavor & preference vary: While many kittens love the turkey flavor, some reviewers noted that certain kittens didn’t take to it as much as other flavors like chicken or fish. Digestive sensitivities: A few reports suggest some kittens had digestive upset (vomiting or diarrhea) when eating this formula — possibly due to the inclusion of milk or other ingredients in some batches. Batch / formula variation: Some chatter among users suggests texture/consistency changed over time, so if your kitten suddenly rejects it, checking batch or switching flavor may help. Budget & volume: Because kittens eat often and need more portions, costs can add up. If you’re feeding multiple kittens or want variety, you’ll want to plan accordingly. 🎯 My verdict For our household, this Fancy Feast kitten turkey paté has done very well. The kittens devour it, the texture is spot‑on for their stage of life, and we’ve had no major issues so far. Would I buy it again? Absolutely — though I’ll keep one eye on how each kitten responds and be ready to rotate flavors if needed. If I were recommending it: If your kitten is a decent eater and you want a reliable, widely‑available wet food that they’ll likely enjoy, this is a great pick.

Tastes so AMAZING
With the new 2025 Big Beautiful Bill, I have had to start eating cat food again. This food is moist and is a great change-up from the dry food I normally eat.

Good budget option!
Fancy Feast kitten food is a decent, affordable option. It’s not my #1 pick but it’s the best option at its price point. The artificial flavors is quite high on the ingredients list and seem “junky” to me. The meat byproducts is also concerning since I don’t know the actual protein. This could be a problem if your cat develops food allergies. I also just like to know exactly what I’m feeding my cat. My kitten was weaned on Fancy Feast before I got her and fortunately hasn’t any issues with it but I also supplement her food with higher quality (aka more expensive) brands such as the Wellness Core, Orijen and Instinct kitten foods to give her better nutrition and expand her palate while saving a little money. I don’t want her to get addicted to artificial flavors just as I don’t want that for my kids. I will eventually transition her off the Fancy Feast but I would definitely recommend Fancy Feast if it’s all you can afford and/or you’re feeding a lot of kittens. It’s just unfortunate that higher quality cat food isn’t cheap, especially for kittens who need to eat so much. I recommend Fancy Feast over Purina Pro Plan, which has too many carbs.

Great to divert adult cat's attention for medical procedure.
I give this to my elderly cat who has kidney problems as I give him his saline infusion and it keeps him totally preoccupied with eating! He Loves it.
