This is a great book for learning the Sax.

Purchased it so I can start learning the saxophone again. Easy to follow just have to remember and get in sync again, but it’s a good book

This guide takes off ab initio. Assembling the horn and mouthpiece. Start out notes. Some basic exercises. The treble key. But then it stops. You would need another guide to progress, e.g. Rubank. It does come with down loadable play along and analysis software, but it's for iOS only.

Bought for my grandson but no feed back from him so I imagine they are perfect for a beginner player just learning.

I had never played saxophone before and I am a 75 years old retired. I just wanted to play sax and this book it comes in very handy. I enjoyed playing the with all the instructions on it. It’s amazing how this thing really works for a beginner like myself. It’s awesome.

It was a good introduction for a beginners in Saxophones. I would add the suggestion of explaining how to tune them. In my opinion that’s key to playing any instrument, l find it odd that its not taught. The explanation for using the octave key was in my opinion lacking any substance. I watched a video online for further explanation. This book is for absolute beginners, I believe they missed that mark.

I just started back to playing my Sax. The book allowed me to right back on track. Love the note reviews and play a longs.
