For the most part it's great, with well known songs and simple sheet music. However, many songs were in annoying key signatures, which is fine but seems a bit unnecessary when they weren't staying in the actual keys of the songs anyway. Also, many of the songs were written in a very low range, seems like they weren't arranged by a cellist. Obviously this is all fine and still very much playable, but just something to watch out for if you're a beginner! Also, this product doesn't come with the online backing tracks like many of this companies products do (this isn't advertised, so this isn't something wrong with the product, but just something to bare in mind). Overall, a very good product and has provided lots of entertainment, but some minor adjustments would make it perfect. Review: My middle schooler absolutely loves this book! The wide selection of songs keeps practice sessions fresh and exciting. It’s a great mix of popular hits that make learning the cello more enjoyable. A thoughtful gift that’s been a big hit in our home!

Just started playing again and this book it great. Plenty of songs to start out on and move to others once you’ve advanced through. Just ordered another from this brand.
