I bought 4 packs. This is the answer to your prayers.
I’m a mixed chick and I have fine textured hair that ranges from 2a to 3b. The ends of my hair have an ammonium thioglycolate straightener on them but I’ve been growing that out since early 2020. It’s now early 2022. Let me tell you, these big soft foam curlers are PERFECT. I have tried everything and I mean EVERYTHING to get my hair to curl. I wanted something that would be gentle on my hair and non damaging but easy to sleep in. Take the wires out of the foam and they are sooo comfy! So as you can see in the video (which I filmed before I realized I could take the wires out) I use these differently than instructed. I was inspired by this brand called Cozy Curlers but I was not about to pay $35 for 8 curlers when with all my hair, I need about 24 curlers. The conair ones are cheap at $10 for 8 curlers and I bought 4 packs. Yes, 4. I use all but one curler so I can easily put 23 curlers in my hair. The net on my hand is called “highly elastic tubular net bandage” in the size meant for fingers and I purchased it on Amazon. It comes in a roll of 25 yards. You’ll want to cut pieces of the net a bit longer than the length of the rollers. Because my hair is long and thick, it takes literally days to air dry in normal rollers. These conair ones are perfect because they’re long enough for my hair to wrap around the entire length of the curler without the hair being wrapped on top of itself which increases dry time. Also, not using the curlers with the wires decreases drying time. I set my hair when it is wet from the shower and my hair is air dried in less than 24 hours. And it’s even less if I use my bonnet dryer. This is a vast improvement from the 2 hours under the dryer or 3 days of air drying with regular roller sets. Also, the amazing shine you’re seeing on my hair is with ZERO product! Except water, shampoo and conditioner, there was nothing else I applied to my hair. No gel, no hairspray, no creams or leave in no nothing. If you set your hair when it is wet (not damp, wet) the curls will last all week. I wash my hair once a week. When you curl the hair wet, the hair will get “muscle memory” and the curls will easily reform if you put them back into the rollers overnight without re-wetting the hair. And since these are so comfy to sleep in when you take the wires out, I put the rollers back into my hair every night before bed and wake up and then comb out the curls with a wide tooth comb and viola! Perfect hair!!! The only downsides to these curlers are that with the way I do this with the net, the hair does not get the volume at the roots that it does with regular roller sets and the roots don’t get smoothed. You can see in the photos my roots are frizzy. I don’t do anything about this but you can smooth the roots with a flat iron if you want. I would also suggest first putting your hair in a high ponytail on the top of your head and then using the curlers on the hair that comes out of the ponytail so that once it’s dry and you take your hair down, you’ll have major volume. You could also do small individual ponytails for each roller to smooth the roots (just Google “roller set ponytail method” and you’ll see what I mean- Black women have been doing this to get their roots extra smooth with a roller set for ages). Other than that the only other con is that when I have all these in my hair, it’s not as hot or glamorous as a regular roller set- I look like a LaLa Loopsie doll and wouldn’t dare leave the house with them in. In normal rollers I don’t mind leaving the house because normal rollers look glamorous- these rollers just look crazy. But they are soooo comfortable!! Also I probably sound like an infomercial but I was not sent free product, paid or reimbursed or compensated in any way for this review. I just love these rollers and finally found something that works for me after years of searching and I hope I can help someone else out there. :) CONAIR, Never discontinue these please!! Oh and in the photos with the grey sweater, I curled all the rollers going in opposite directions and in the photo with the navy plush robe I put all the rollers in the same direction away from my face all the way around my head. Doing so gives different looks as you can see.

AMAZING
Honestly forget bobby pins. THESE RIGHT HERE are super simple, cheap, and give you the tightest, bounciest curls WOW. I will say my one complaint is the threading and how fast they unravel. I hate when that happens, however I usually stitch them back quickly. Knowing how tight I curl my hair around them, I’m not surprised they got messed up so quickly. I’m still figuring out how to style tighter curls like these since. I sleep with them in (these pillow rollers, are by the way, much more comfortable than regular rollers). I often have to comb through my hair for some time in order to shape my hair curls the way i want. My hair is slippery and fine and I don’t hold heated curls well, if hold is what you need these rollers are insane. I literally had to put a pony tail on because I looked a little poodle-esque during my first run through using these. Once my hair relaxed a little I got a wonderful curl that I’ve never been able to get with curling wands. Plus it lasted all day and well into the next day! Love these, my new favorite hair product for waves and curls.

Excellent quality! Includes bonus items
These rollers are perfect for a stylist that needs extra rollers. They do not, however, include the smallest blue roller that comes with the cosmetology kit. I deducted one store for that reason. Other than that, they are perfect, sturdy with good texture for rolling. They are very colorful and cheerful! The kit also includes a high quality rat tail comb and roller clips.

Good rollers and quality but not easy to use.
I do like these rollers but find them harder to use than Velcro rollers as my hair slips off over and over again. The clips that came with the package are also a little difficult to use -- I think if they were longer it would cover the roller better. I tried using regular bobby pins which seems to help. I purchased the magnetic rollers since I've been having breakage as I'm been using Velcro rollers and it think it's contributing the the hair breakage. I'm trying to use the magnetic rollers without heat so you have to allow for quite along time for the hair to dry. I'm going to continue using these and hope my skill will improve.

Large and lovely
I returned tiese rollers because I am now wearing my hair much shorter and rollers are too large.

Meh, maximum effort for minimal result.
They are pretty but I have so much troubles with these. :((( I tried so many different ways with these: rolling it from bottom up vs from top down, front to back vs back to front, laying rolls horizontal vs. vertical on scalp. Rollers kept sliding out, especially vertical when you try to have hair curl away from face. These are called Magnetic but your hair won't cling to this plastic. The design is stupid. When you try to connect the rollers, they just "fight" with each other because they are so hard. I'd have liked it better if they were soft but can still hold structure. The original design was to use 1 roller picks for each roller with this but they decided to be creative and now it takes 2 clips to keep roller on scalp and 2 bobby pins to keep hair from falling out. I think I'd like for something this hard and smooth. It would help to have raised edges and teeth to keep rollers from just sliding off. Or keep the smooth slim design but change the material to something a bit more bouncy (soft but hold structure), shiny but sticky when running finger across (like the silicon or rubber so rollers won't fall off). Not enough clips. The included clips snag my hair. (These clips are good for another purpose though just not good for these rollers. They are good when using together with curling iron so you can clip the curls) And super clips are expensive ($1 each and I probably need 30 or 40 clips so $40 for clips? but that's another review) and they don't fit these 2" rollers. So I don't know what clips to get, I want to get the roller picks but there are not enough holes. Pick roller are expensive too so I'm going to try with wooden BBQ stick and just break them in 3" and see. Sigh. Talking about not enough holes: Not only it took forever to put on because the roller kept sliding out. It took my hair forever to dry, more than 5 hours for sure. So the next time I roll my hair, I did it when it 90% dry. And there are problems rolling hair dry as well. They can punch more hole in there, yeah? The roller are so heavy: my whole scalp was hurting at the end of the day because it took forever to put on, for them to dry and the rollers are heavy. I'm going to try again for the third time when I have LOTS of time and update my review if the results are any better. So far, I got no curls and I spent so much on time on it (3 hours each time because rollers kept sliding out and more than 5 hours to dry when I do hair damp towel dried hair. Scalp hurts from the weight and the clips. Ouch!)

Quick and easy use
Easy and convenient to use. Just wrap your hair around roller then bend roller over hair to secure. Much better than the ones that have velcro at each end to secure into place, which always gets snagged in my hair no matter how careful I am. The size is perfect. Curl isn't too tight.

Excelente!
