Dance Women's Neo-Flex Slip On Leather Jazz Shoes

I followed the sizing advice and ordered a half size up from my daughter's street shoe size when I ordered these shoes for her. I probably didn't need to do that, but even though these are slightly long on her they still look great and perform well so we'll not exchange. FYI she wears a women's size 7 street shoe and I ordered her a 7.5 jazz shoe. I wear an 8 in street shoes; I tried on this jazz shoe and it was right at my toe tips. It would probably stretch to fit my foot exactly. So I am not sure that ordering half size up is good advice. The jazz shoe does run a little shorter than a street shoe, but we size our street shoes with a little clearance in the toe and with a soft jazz shoe you generally want it to conform to the foot. My advice would be to size up only if you want to allow room for a growing foot. This shoe fits beautifully through the arch, really flattering the foot in all positions from flat to pointed. It also feels nice and supportive. My daughter and I are both pleased with this purchase. And if she decides to quit jazz, I am going to snag those shoes for myself!

I originally bought my current shoe size and should have read the suggestion of buying 1/2 to 1 size up. I sent back the original size and ordered 1/2 size up. Still a little short but are ok. The leather is nice and I particularly like that it has a non rubber sole. We practice sometimes on carpeted floors and this allow us to make turns and spin without the soles catching. It also works well on hardwood floors. The leather upper is very soft and since I have a narrow foot, I ordered narrow. The narrow fits quite well. I would recommend this shoe.

I buy a lot of things on Amazon because I simply do not like going to Malls and by and large I have had very positive results and nothing has ever been less than satisfactory. I tell you this because it is against that standard that I rank this vendor at the very "tippy top" of quality customer service with a special acknowledgement to Danielle who understands the value of phenomenal customer service. We ordered a pair of the shoes and they run a little small according to other reviews so we order a half size larger than usual, but when they arrived (2 days later)my daughter could just barely get her feet into the shoes and dancing would have been impossible. We contacted the company (on a Sunday) and almost immediately received an email saying that they were not available on Sunday's (which seemed very reasonable), but that they would contact us Monday. About an hour later we received an email from Danielle saying that she would personally see to it that the shoes were shipped on Monday and that she would send two pairs a size and a size and a half larger and that we could return the original purchase and the other extra pair once we determined the best fit. Short of flying to our area and putting the shoes on my daughter, there isn't a possibility that we could have had a better solution proposed and this all happened in time for a performance on Thursday. So, bottom line, if you need a great product and you want customer service at the highest level, stop looking around Amazon and shop with Danielle at "Online Dancewear", she represents the best of what Amazon has to offer... I originally bought this brand of shoe by going to a dance shop and getting fitted by the associates. Since I had never worn dance shoes before, I did not know how they should fit and trusted the experience of the clerk. After dancing a couple times in my shoes and comparing how my shoe looked on my foot compared to the other dancers, I figured my shoes were too big. I wear women's 11 street shoe, narrow the rare times it's available, and the dance store clerk had given me 11.5. This had me dancing with the seam of the sole right under my big toe. After reading the reviews of this product, I decided to brave going down a half size since I already knew the 11.5 was too big. And you know what? The 11 narrow of this dance shoe fits perfect, like a glove, just like they should fit. This type of shoe should be snug - the elastic in the middle holds the shoe on your foot and the leather will stretch for the shape of your toes. The proper size of this shoe fits much better now than the one that was a half size too big.

Sizing is kind of a nightmare for dance shoes -- we went through 3 pairs of shoes before we got it right. My daughter wears a 3.5-4 "big kid" shoe, and she wound up in a size 6 for this style. But, sizing aside, they are wonderful shoes and she's been very happy with them. Comfortable and flexible enough that she even wears them around the house just because she likes the way they feel on her feet. They look stylish too. As part of trying different sizes we ordered a similar pair from Danzcue, and the Bloch pairs seemed to be slightly more flexible and slightly better leather, and we preferred having the elastic on the side rather the top. So, if you can get the size worked out (and really, when in doubt, order up!!!), the Bloch brand and this particular style can't be beat.

My daughter dances 4-8 hours during the week and is on the competitive team. She wears an adult size 8 consistently in converse, sandals, boots and she did need the size 9. We tried 8.5 and 9.5 also and returned them successfully. The shoes are good quality as they have just enough stretch and as new they did not hurt her feet. It is pricey and worth it because she wears them so much.

Follow sizing guide and true to description. Didn't want to overspend when just starting up dance again as an adult. Great quality and value

These jazz shoes are amazingly flexible and comfortable. The color is great and the leather is high quality that lasts. You do need to adjust for size, and size up 1.5-2.0. My daughter wears a regular width shoe side 7.5-8. I ordered two shoes from Amazon, a 9.5 B(M) and a 9.5 2A(N) to compare. The 9.5 2A(N) fit her perfectly with just a little room for growth. The 9.5 B(M) were very very loose on her. They were almost baggy on her foot. She has an average foot and we have never bought narrow width shoes before. We returned the 9.5 B(M). We ended up purchasing the 9.5 2A(N) in both tan and black because she love them so much.

First delivery, package says size 4 but opened it is 3.5 . And too small for my daughter. Replacement is size 4 , but actually smaller than size 3.5 !??!! I have no idea what size should I order or size literally isn’t matter for Bloch shoes ?

I bought these in a pinch for an Alumni reunion. Great, comfortable shoe for folk dancing-- and other genres as well, I'm sure! Definitely SIZE UP A FULL SIZE from your street size as suggested in other reviews.
