The belt does not go all the way around, it is 2 separate pieces that are attached at each side. I thought that was strange, but not a deal breaker. It still works like it should and ties shut ok. The reason for 4 stars is that I ordered a size 4T for my 2 year old so it would fit her for a while, but it turns out to fit her pretty good right now. I was a little disappointed. She normally wears 2T or 3T in most brands of clothing, so I was sure this would be big on her like I wanted. One more thing, this took over a month to arrive after I placed the order. The package came directly from china. I guess I was not expecting that. So order way in advance if you plan to buy this.
