Cornhole, anyone? I got your cornhole right here.
Cornhole?? Really? Who thought of this name? My buddies and I had fun just with the name for days (cornholin; imma cornhole you up; i "heart" cornhole). I had only played this game once for a few minutes at a tailgate party years ago and didn't think all that much of it, but upon further review... this game is seriously addicting, esp in the right environmental and with beer. I searched for a while for a set before finally deciding on this one for a camping trip to Yosemite. Learned so much in the process - like the fact that this one is "regulation size" and that there is such a thing as the ACA (yup, American Cornhole Association) - and that these things can get pretty pricy. After playing on this one, I sure am glad I didn't cut costs by getting a smaller, cheaper one for about $60-$75. Regulation size is the way to go, because points are scored not only for cornholes, but also if the bag stays on the board - and with a 3 foot long board or smaller (like most of the mini sets are), I imagine it would be almost impossible for the bean bags to stay on the board. The bags slide on these too, but with the proper toss they will stay on the board and do so frequently. To me, the fact that it is slippery makes the game more challenging, as t makes scoring points is more difficult and knocking opponents bags off also becomes a bigger part of the game as well. These boards also bounce a bit, but not so bad that it affects gameplay (the playing surface plays a role on that too). Some have complained about the rim around the cornhole, but to me no impact there either. When I first opened it up, one of the hinges was dented - likely from transport - so I couldn't open up one of the boards without first hammering the metal hinge back up to a straightened position. This only took 5 minutes though so I'm not going to deduct for this, but I imagine that's why this product is currently "under review" by amazon, because of the shipping/packaging. Regardless, I highly recommend this kit, and I'm so glad I got it. We played it for hours at our campsite and our neighbors would often stop by to watch cause we were having so much damn fun, some of whom were foreigners and would just stare for long periods trying to figure out why we were enjoying ourselves so much... but that just made us feel like star athletes. The next day we set it up by the a river and played for a few more hours - addicting I tell you - so they are easy to transport, albeit large. Oh the bean bags were of good quality too, well made with good heft. Next year, I'm gonna find a way to lug these to the top of Half Dome and cornhole up there! On second thought... maybe not, but that would be the ultimate cornhole venue.

Exactly what we wanted!
Comparable regulation dimensions in a easily portable, lightweight, well constructed, all around set for having fun playing cornhole at the beach, backyard, and tailgating. First day, pulled it straight out of the box, set up in under a minute, played for hours. We were anxious to see the difference playing on this set versus the massive wooden tournament set we had. While we have no aspirations (or delusions) of becoming cornhole professionals we are still quite competitive and wanted a set with somewhat regulation dimensions. The differences we noted are minimal and we certainly had as much fun as on the wooden set. Actually, more so as we didn't have to lug the 40+ pound each wooden boards back to the garage. Just stowed bags inside the frames, folded, clasped, and carried in like large square briefcases. I have included the following measurements of this set. For anyone interested they could compare them to the American Cornhole Organization (ACO) website. Each Cornhole Board Platform is 23 1/2" x 47 1/4" with a 5 3/4" diameter hole (including it's plastic edge guard), centered 9" from top of board and centered 12" from each side edge. The front of the board is 1 1/2" from the ground to the top of the playing surface. The back of the board is 12โ from the ground to the top of the playing surface. This set has 8 bags (4 red, 4 blue). Each bag is made from a single twill fabric rectangle folded into a square stiched on three sides and double-stitched 3/4 way down one side. Each bag measures roughly 5 1/2" square and weigh 10.4 to 10.6 ounces. According to the Mfg. "If your bags get dirty from playing outdoors, they can be hand washed with soap and hot water (they are filled with plastic, not corn, so they will not rot)." If the weight and/or construction of the bags is a concern an extra set of regulation (15 to 16 oz., all double-stitched sides) bags could be substituted. In my humble opinion the bag set included is an acceptable "family weight" set good for everyone including younger, smaller, and older players. Weight of one board platform is 11.8 pounds. Folded board platform 23 5/8" square. (Approx. 24 1/16" across the sides including the handle) Also note there are very slight raised edges around the perimeter of the board playing surface and the hole. These edges and the seam in the board center did not appear to hinder bag movement or play.

Great Corn Hole Set
I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend to friends; in fact, I have recommended this to several people that have enjoyed playing on my set. The boards arrived in great condition and are light enough to carry around to different locations. In addition, I like that the boards fold in half for easy transport and storage. I think the fact that they fold in half and are relatively light give them an edge over home built boards (not to mention I don't have the time or desire to make my own) so the slightly higher cost was still worth it for me. The fold point (line that runs horizontal about half way down the board) hasn't provided any issue for me. That, along with the slickness of the board are just added elements to the game. I've already used these several times in the past few weeks and haven't had any issues other than one of the bean bags that started to open along the seam which was an easy fix with needle and thread. The game itself is great because it can be enjoyed by people at any age; my 7 year old niece as well as my parents...I won't give away their age, all had a blast with it. The boards didn't come with a carrying case but I had read that in other reviews so wasn't shocked when it wasn't included. In retrospect, although a case would be nice, carrying the weight of the boards is better balanced in each hand; the handles attached to the boards make this easy as well as the fact that I can slide them side by side under my couch for storage. I hope this helps!

Good choice.
Sturdy. Looks like it will be weather resistant. Lighter than the wooden monstrosities. A fun addition to the summer yard game trifecta โaxeโ throw target and the four in a row game.

Sturdy - Portable - Fun
I tried the plastic bean bag toss game set because I was interested in weatherproof boards in case I leave them out in the rain. They were okay but I ended up putting screws in them to keep them from collapsing because they eventually opened beyond the "point of no return" and once the plastic collapses it doesn't "bounce back." I was also interested in portability because I go camping a lot and take them with me. I tried the portable foldable wood ones but they didn't even last one trip without breaking. So I bought these and thoroughly enjoy them. Some game purists may not like the lip of the opening (there is a plastic insert in the hole) but they just need to get over it because it doesn't really affect game play. Neither does the seam at the fold. It is flat and relatively smooth. The playing surface is MDF board and may be a little water resistant but I wouldn't leave them out in the elements for very long. I don't think a little dampness will hurt them. The aluminum frame is very sturdy and the rigidity of the entire board to me plays like the regulation wood boards I have played on. They are lightweight and take up half the space of standard boards. The bags seem to be holding up well too. The sturdy construction combined with the portability of this set earns this game 5 stars.

Well Built. Easy to transport. Plays like a boss. WINNER!
I am loving this so far! We use it almost every weekend and it is great! I'd estimate ~50 days so far we have used this. The bags are strong and have withstood a lot of use. No issues so far with ripping or tearing. Very easy to get a good grip when throwing. The 2 boards are both built very well. During play, they are very sturdy and do not move. Sometimes we get some weird bounces when the bags hit the holes awkwardly but usually it is predictable. When not in use, the boards fold up and store nicely - we keep the bags inside the folded up boards so they don't get separated. The best thing of all is how light and easy this is to transport. This is my 3rd different CornHole set (don't judge! - we love to cookout!) and my favorite so far. All the others were very heavy, difficult to carry, and despite the added weight they were not nearly this sturdy. Usually we would put the 2 boards together back-to-back and get a grip by grabbing the hole - very awkward and cumbersome. Whoever thought of adding the carry-handle to each board.... genius!

Quality Game Easy to Fold and Transport
This cornhole game works great. It folds up easily and is lightweight. I really like it compared to my heavier game that didnโt fold up. Both the board and bags feel like they are good quality. This one is easy to take places and to store. I would order this again!

Good boards that are really portable, up there with the best of them
I've played on a lot of different sets in my day and I have to say, this one is up there. The portability is great, it isn't too light (you don't want the boards shifting all around) but they also aren't too heavy to lug around long distances. There is a little bounce in the boards, but that is to be expected with the design and weight but everyone kind of liked how the bags had a small bounce when they hit the boards with a high flop shot. The sliding is also pretty good, it isn't too slick or too slow. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone. It either came down to these boards or locally made full wood boards, these were over $30 cheaper and they are way easier to travel with and store, though I doubt they will last as long as real wood boards. Also had a quick question and I e-mailed their customer service, had a response within an hour and a half so they also score points there.

Good quality
Surprisingly great quality. We have used plenty of times whether in backyard or on camping trip and it has held up. Keep in mind these do have some weight to them when you are using the carrying case The bean bags have held up so far as well but I am also not just whipping them.
