Ordered the exact water heater that was in my camper. My son and brother n law had the old one out new one in about an hour and a half. They said everything lined up perfectly, easy job. Turned the switch and poof it ignited, within 30 minutes, there was hot water. Highly recommend.

The water heater works great and replaced the Atwood I had very easy. The problem was getting the water line adapters that screw into tank not to leak, and after 5 months of use the water pressure blow off valve went out and started leaking already.

Very happy customer here! 2 day shipping, super good price, and fully functional. I bought a “slightly used” model and it was new in box, tape still on it. The box was just old and beat up, you could tell this thing got lost in a warehouse. Not complaining - the box is trash, just mentioning it is to be expected if you’re saving hundreds of dollars. Same dimensions and similar wiring/plumbing as my 10 gallon Atwood gas/electric. Skills required: - basic knowledge of wiring diagrams - gas plumbing - water plumbing - rough carpentry - caulking with masking tape I am a experienced mechanic, and it took me about 5 hours from start to finish. That said, I did read the manual online before it arrived and picked up new fittings and adapters at Ace. If you hire a mechanic to change it, they will likely charge you two days of labor and that is fair. ***There is a on/off toggle switch on the outside panel. Ensure it is set to off until you have water in the tank, you risk burning out your heating element otherwise*** Just take the time to read through the instructions. (DEM model not applicable)

Came two days early and it was package tightly and had no problems with installation.

Good transaction. Good product. The only thing people should pay attention to is connection to the electric element. My connector needed to be rotated to sit flat, and tightened.
