Beautiful and a good size!

This carved box makes a great vehicle for a pair of custom made earrings. It is not lined but could be. The quality of the wood and workmanship is top notch.

The box is beautiful!! Defiantly a keep sake. My favorite gift of all. My son cried! Here is the letter I wrote to my granddaughter on her 1st birthday to go in the box and ring. A very nice, precision, hand carved hardwood box. Perfect for a jewelry gift, which is what I bought it for. Heavy, which clearly indicates the effort in creating this beautiful little box, and it is good incentive for keeping it forever and passing it down. A small complaint though. There is no latching mechanism, though there need not be one for its intended use. Completely overlook-able. Would very much buy it again. Excellent!

It’s a cute little box that inspired me to make a custom music box. Turned out great for my first prototype. The carvings on the box are great. Seems pretty sturdy and has good weight to it. I added the latch as a cosmetic measure and to secure it better. My only complaint is that the stain was over applied, rubs off on stuff for a bit, and it smells pretty strong. Be prepared to wipe it down with some dirty rags or paper towels for a bit when you get it.

Beautiful Box !! Just stunning !

The box is beautifully carved, and seems sturdy. We're using it as a gift box for a necklace. However be warned that it came smelling like shoe polish, so I looked closer and realized most of the wax stain had not been removed or buffed. The box is photographed after I wiped it down (paper towels in photos) and it was quiet a lot of stain. Looks good after a buffing, but be warned it'll stink and stain your hands unless you take the excess off. Also the lid doesn't quiet shut all the way, and it looks like the hinge nails are loose and the culprit. Overall not terribly disappointed given that it shipped super fast and wasn't very expensive. It'll serve it's purpose as a gift box, but I'm going to try to fix it up first.

I'm so glad I ordered this box! It's beautiful, the measurements (4" x 4") are exactly what it is and there's a little elephant keychain inside with two tiny bells. Red velvet fabric lines the top and bottom, the hinges are aligned and don't make noise when opening and shutting it, and the box opens and closes over the wooden lip without a problem. I'm so glad I ordered it! Note: I ordered two boxes. Since they're hand-carved, they're not identical. They are very similar though, but one of them looks like someone put more time and care into the design, and the other is not as detailed. Also, this is NOT the exact design that's pictured - it's pretty but not the same one. Please see the included pictures. As you can probably guess, I prefer the box on the right.

I wanted a smaller box for my crystal bracelets and wanted a special hand carved box just for them. The picture on Amazon doesn't do the box justice. The box is so pretty and has a smaller area once opened that fits my bracelets so nice. This box is at the front of my shelf and deserves to be seen. Very happy and got it early as well.
