Update: This is my second bench purchase. It's just as nice as my earlier purchase. I'm using this bench outside on my covered patio. I gave it a coat of teak oil and the wood became deeply rich in color and even better looking. Went together quickly. Great buy. This is a surprisingly well made bench with a nice teak finish. Provides strong and sturdy extra seating. For now, I'm using it indoors as a central location for my orchid collection. It does not look out of place inside the house. After Florida hurricane season is over, I'll likely place it out on my patio. In any event, the bench went together with ease and it looks far more expensive than it's cost. I'm very pleased with this purchase. One assembly suggestion: Just snug-up (hand-tighten) the washer and screw fasteners until the legs and cross bar are installed. Then, once everything is in it's proper place, you can go back and tighten up the fasteners with the hex shaped hand tool. In other words, don't tighten down the fasteners until everything is assembled and in it's proper place.

For $150 I wasn’t expecting the greatest quality of wood but was very pleasantly surprised with how sturdy (and pretty) the wood is! I would say the color is true to the online pics. My husband assembled it for me, but based on him being done in 20 minutes with no cursing or complaints I think it was pretty easy to assemble. I know a little tweaking was required to get the suspension wire underneath to be taut/straight, but doable. It’s been outside on a covered porch for about 2 weeks in humidity and is holding up fine so far. The first bench i ordered actually arrived damaged with a large gouge in the wood, but Amazon processed the return quickly! Overall very happy with my purchase.

Attractive contemporary style and good customer service. The horizontal bar is a bit finicky to screw together, and on mine the threads were defective. I contacted support and they sent me a whole new bench! Very satisfied.

THIS BENCH IS SO BEAUTIFUL! I always do thorough research before purchasing larger furniture pieces through Amazon and this bench is a WIN! I put this together myself in about 20 minutes! The trick for the center bar is to tighten the center so that it’s about 1/4” shy from the leg so it has a good amount of tension! Super sturdy, and we definitely surpassed the suggested weight limit without even the slightest wobble. Had 3 people on it, roughly 550lbs. It is HEAVY, however. So don’t anticipate it to me light or an easy move when around the dinning table! Haha! But highly recommend for indoor or outdoor use! When we finish our patio I’m getting on to put out there! And you can’t beat the price! Wow!

I'm very pleased with this beautiful bench. I asked my 14 year old son who rarely helps around the house to assemble it for me and outside of not tightening the bolts well enough, it was easy peasy for him to put together. I had initially intended to use this bench in our guest room, but realized it wouldn't be a good fit for that space. I liked the looks of the bench from the pictures on amazon, the positive reviews and the price enough that I still wanted it and just needed to figure out where to put it. It is the perfect addition to our sunroom near the external door and looks lovely there. I'm very happy with it and definitely recommend it!

Decent qualty and the look is nice, but the legs are not flush with the ground. the supporting legs are all cut at angles that makes the bench just balance on the inside of the legs and not flush with the ground. Super annoying, but no necessarily a deal breaker. You just have to realize that it is not as sturdy as one would expect and be careful when sitting on it

I purchase two benches to go with an acacia picnic table I purchased last summer. Though they came from different manufacturers, they are an exact match, down to the black metal legs. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. I’m delighted that the style and shade matches the table and one would think this was a set. I gave it three stars for value because I purchased the table for a fraction of what the benches cost.

I needed a new bench to replace one with cushions at my front door! I'm so pleased with my purchase! This bench would also look great indoors! Well made for the price!

Sturdy. Easy to put in 15 minutes by 1 person. I thought the holes would be an issue as some reviewed, but mine was all good and aligned!
