Bovine Collagen Powder Supplements for Women & Men 400g

This is my second pouch of collagen I did a lot of research as there is so much collagen around. I recently broke a bone and had surgery so wanted the right collagen to help my bone health I am 58 years old. I chose this one as it had no bovaer animal feed, no GMO feed, no antibiotics and it’s grass feed cows, no fillers or additives and it’s tested for heavy metals. It doesn’t taste of anything I add it to my morning orange juice I take one tablespoon but after my operation for two weeks I took two tablespoons. My nails are unbelievable long and very strong I am 6 weeks in on taking it so I’m hoping my bones are good too. I would recommend this product and will always take it from now on.

Been using this - the bovine - religiously every day for well over a year. Even took it in holiday with me in summer. I do take it with vitamin c as some studies say the body absorbs this collagen better with it. And vitamin c helps collagen production and everything else too - so might as well! I dissolve it in a strong coffee every morning. It dissolves really well and I have never smelt or tasted it - and I've gone through a lot of bags. My skin is so soft - I'd say that's the most noticeable thing. I used to have sore shoulder/s and this pain has also gone in about 3 months ago. BUT I started taking high strength omega 3 and tablet hyaluronic acid supplements at the same time - so could be a combination of all 3 supplements? They market it as a replacement botox - it's absolutely not. It does not reduce lines, wrinkles or crepey skin on your neck. Only injectables can sort that out and the aggressive marketing does my head in about this! My crepey neck is still there after a year - i have the pics to prove it! The price of this brand has also gone though the roof, so I've just switched to nutrition geeks. Run both through ChatGPT- they've got the same ingredients! I'm so far in now that'll I'll probably take it forever, but not this expensive brand.

Dissolves easily, taste is pretty neutral so for me is fine in coffee and tea. However, the price has risen from £22 to over £30 suddenly. Too expensive.

This tastes a bit strange and I would never ruin a cup of coffee with it. I’m taking it because I’m in the perimenopause and it’s been really good for my tricky gut (now I’ve stopped taking probiotics, not feeling bloated or having trapped wind etc) and I’ve found that if I take it with water and magnesium at bedtime it keeps my glucose levels stable and I don’t get those dreaded 3am wake ups. Worth it just for that!

Too early to give a final judgement on the Collagen Powder, however, mixed in with my morning cereal there is no notable taste and I will continue taking the Powder in the same manner. Therefore, I will order once again.

Unfortunately it isn’t tasteless. I’ve put it in coffee and smoothies and there is that ‘collagen supplement’ slight taste to it. I used to take Collagen tablets but the taste was unpleasant and this has the same taste. It’s only slight but enough to put me off enjoying my drink. I now mix it in to a small amount of coffee/smoothie, hold my nose and knock it back. Followed by a swing of my non contaminated liquid. 😅 I’ll still continue to use it, I just won’t be sipping it slow! Too early to see results but I’m sure they will happen 🙏

Dissolves perfectly and tastes of nothing. It does seem to bring some health benefits too, I was sceptical but pleasantly surprised! I’d recommend

I bought this product as a cheaper alternative to my usual collagen powder (Vital Proteins), which recently went up in price. I use collagen powder mainly for joint pain in my knees, but I also appreciate the benefits I see for my skin and nails. This collagen powder has definitely helped reduce my joint pain and I no longer get knee pain as easily or for extended periods of time, and this has been the only change in my lifestyle. In terms of skin and nails, my skin looks clearer and my nails are a lot less brittle, so I can finally grow them out without some of them breaking! One thing I did notice is that if you order the single, you get white packaging, and if you order the double, you get black packaging. The black packaging doesn’t seem to reseal properly unlike the white one. Comparing to other collagen powders, this I definitely the best at this price. I’ve tried cheaper ones and they’re all yuck! However, considering more premium collagen powders, I’d say that I notice no difference in this powder compared to the Vital Proteins powder except for the smell. This product has a subtle smell like bad milk maybe? But I don’t taste any difference when I mix it into my oatmeal or smoothies. Note: There’s no scoop included, so I purchased a metal scoop off of Amazon and that seems to do the trick! Update: The black packaging now reseals very well and I still absolutely love this brand!

I have been taking this product consistently for 9 months. I can tell you it's not gonna give you meaningful effect on your skin or nails, but hair quality has clearly improved. Regarding gut health, no noticeable effects whatsoever. I would strongly recommend this product only for people trying to get faster muscle recovery from workouts, as it is highly effective at it. Regarding flavour and odor, some bags taste better than other, and some smell less than others, I would say it doesn't have a consistent flavour/smell between different bags, which explains the bad reviews from people. Regarding mixing, I use a metallic bottle with a metal ball to properly dissolve. Never had any issue. If you use a spoon to dissolve it, I suppose it can be difficult, but then just invest in a good way to dissolve it. I bought this product on a very good discount. If I had to pay the full price, I think it's a bit expensive
