I mainly use this for my 5" by 7" inch machine embroidery hoop which usually stitches between 1,000 to 10,000 stitches per project. It seems to hold up the project just fine. I've never had any issues regarding tearing while stitching but it is easy to tear away from the fabric once the project is done stitching.
