My Garmin VivoActive 5 stopped connecting to the standard charging cable. I purchased a new cable and experienced the same issue. This snaps to the watch in a far more firm, reliable manner. Once it's snapped, I never have to worry about it popping out. I'm extremely happy with the quality of this item, it saved me from having to replace the watch.

Its a charger, nothing fancy about it. But it works great and freed up a different USB-C plug. I have this plugged into the USB charging port on an alarm clock and it works perfectly. It charges at the same rate as the USB-C plug that came with it did but is much more convenient. Plus I love that it protects the watch by no requiring it to be laying on its side or face while charging. 100% worth the buy

This charger puts the Garmin cable to shame. I've had nothing but problems with the stock cable and other replacement cables. The bad cables are compounded by the fact that the watch turns itself on when you connect to the charger. I'll connect the watch with plenty of battery life and then it gets bumped a tiny amount and disconnects and I end up with a dead watch. This charger not only supports the watch to prevent bumping it off, but the connector port also grabs the watch much more firmly. It remains to be seen how long it'll hold up, but even the expensive Garmin cables wear out relatively quickly. These are prices so cheaply that you can get 4 for the price of one Garmin cable.

Finicky. I like that it charges while laying flat, but it needs to be in the right position to charge. EDIT – This charger lasted for a month before completely losing functionality. Not a good product at all.

They work better than the original. I no longer have issues with my watch popping off the charge. Money well spent.

Works well for charging up the Garmin Fenix 6. The charger connection the watch came with falls off while charging rendering it pretty useless. This replacement holds the watch fast and tight.

Unlike the OEM charging cable, this charger is 100% reliable. My Garmin cable stopped connecting reliably after 6 months and it was really frustrating to wake up in the morning for a long trail run only to find that the charger had disconnected and the watch wasn't fully charged. Why replace that cable at a much higher price from Garmin when you can get two of these? It makes a solid connection every time and you don't have to lay the watch upside down or on the buttons while charging! Why didn't Garmin do this? Thanks to DC Rainmaker for the suggestion.

Very happy with the charger! I put with spending 10 minutes each fortnight trying to get the Garmin charging cable to connect properly to my watch for years. Sometimes you'd come back a hour later only to find the watch stopped charging! So frustrating I was very close to buying another brand of watch! No more dreading charge day and the inevitable swearing and cursing. Just click the watch in and it charges straight away.
