I have a simple approach to judging skin care products: does it improve the look of my skin, do I like the way it feels when I put it on, do I like how it smells.I generally prefer scent free skin care. This serum has a light lemony scent, it is not sweet, I reminded me of the lemony smell of the lemon skin with just a tad bitterness. It is a pleasant scent. I could smell it for about 5 minutes, it did not linger for long. So overall the scent is okay. The serum feels like a thick slightly opaque liquid. It is not oily, and my skin did not shine after application. After applying it I needed to wash my hands, they felt a little sticky.The Fire and Earth serum is designed to to clear skin from blemishes, pimples, and blotches. It also claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and sun spots. I used in combination with Infinity Bridge moisturising cream as this combination is recommended by the manufacturer.How did it live to the claims? First, I should say that the "Fire" did not feel like it was burning my skin. With that name I was not sure if it would be a bit harsh. It was not. I noticed minor improvements in fine lines and wrinkles. When I began applying the serum I had a small pimple on my jaw, it cleared up in a week. Whether it was speeded by the serum it is hard for me to tell, but it certainly did not make it worse. I did not notice any improvement in sun spots.The bottle is small. It contains 1 oz of serum. The bottle is 4" from the bottom to the top of the dropper.Manufacturers recommendations on use and storage:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Clean and pat dry the skin. Rub a few drops on the serum between hands and then pat the hands over face and neck. Allow to dry. Repeat twice a day. Store in a cool temperature (best stored below 60°F).
