Exactly as described, works perfectly. No issues at all. I got this as part of an upgrade project for an old HP Pavilion that is on the verge of retirement. It's been my favorite device for creative writing and all around word processing for years (original manufacture date is 2016-ish) and I hate to let it go without a fight. There was some confusion and conflicting information as to whether this particular model could or could not be upgraded from 4gb to 8gb; so I took a chance... I'm glad I did. Works great. Very easy to pop-in as these old laptops had the access panel on back. There's a noticeable difference in performance. Great product. Very happy with it.

This was for a little Acer micro-top that needed a little refresh which was maxing out memory and installing open source OS. Little thing flat gets after it now. It's amazing what can happen when you ditch bloatware. Recommend. Great price point.

Not a lot to say about it. It did what was needed. It's a stick of ram. How hard the installation is depends a lot on your specific computer. Mine was easy.

Works just fine with the second stick after the first stick was damaged in shipping. As the shipping concerns that resulted in the first stick arriving damaged (flexible padded Manila envelope instead of cardboard) were not addressed in shipping for the second stick, no 5* review. Probably should be a 2-3* just due to the shipping concerns, but the prompt Customer Service response was very nice.

I recently upgraded my 10 year old laptop by doubling the RAM with this stick, as well as upgrading to an SSD, and replacing the battery. My laptop used to get the ram maxed out just booting up. Now, I have yet to see it go above 80%! For compatibility, definitely check what your motherboard can support before trying to install this. My motherboard had 2 slots, one without a holder in place, and could only support 8GB of RAM, max. This is also laptop sized. My boot up time was drastically reduced after the upgrades from about 1.5-2 minutes, down to well under 30 seconds! This may not be an upgrade for everyone, but it definitely was for me!

Adding this RAM made the biggest difference in performance - programs open faster, multitasking is smooth, and the whole laptop feels brand new. Easy install, highly recommend.

Excellent in performance and very easy to install. Just follow the instructions on crutial YouTube. My laptop had 8gb RAM and was bought in 2014. It's working amazingly well with this additional RAM. Have also got their SSD to give it a better performance.

El slot de memoria me hizo que mi antiguo pc con 4 Gb de RAM pasara a 12 GB de RAM por tener un slot libre y ha sido un cambio de velocidad a la hora de ejecutar programas increíble.
