Better Chef 15-inch Electric Barbecue Grill

This grill was hard to put together (the instructions weren’t great), but it was worth it. It’s perfect for two people and very convenient. So far, I love it. It’s pretty simple and doesn’t have much in the way of settings (off, low, high) but it fits my needs perfectly.

Great for small spaces. The more you use it the better things get. I had 8 hamburgers cooking at one time. I miss the side racks that I had on the rectangle one but it doubled in price. This is quick and easy. Great for apartments. This is my first one with this shape but Ive always had one similar, even if I have a gas grill. I highly recommend.

I am disappointed that it comes in 100 pieces. I was hoping to surprise my husband with it put together while he is at work. I hoped the coils and inside part would at least be put together. Took me an hour just to get to where I took this picture(I'm disabled so it takes me longer than most). The lid took me a bit to figure out the hinge. There are not good instructions for putting together. There should be detailed pictures of each step but instead you get a tiny picture but can't really see how it goes together. The picture is too tiny to see the individual screws and bits which should be enlarge so you know exactly how to put together. I'm really concerned once I get to putting together the inside and coils as I have never done anything like that and will need good instructions.Update: the inside was easier to put together than expected but still should have come with better instructionsPros- lightweight- good tastes greatCons- cord is only a few feet. Should really be a few feet longer.- hubby said food cooks faster in back than front- isn't tall enough but we already had concrete blocks and it works well on the concrete blocks. Highly recommend you buy blocks or something to elevate 6-8 inches

Have not barbequed with it yet because it took a very long time to assemble and directions were quite vague. Product appears a bit cheaply made unfortunately.

Putting it together was frustrating because several screws and wing nuts were missing. But luckily I had a few that fit. But other than that this baby is awesome. I thought that I wouldn't like it because I'm accustomed to a charcoal grill. But I like that I didn't have to deal with flare ups and burning the meat.

Not nearly hot enough to grill. The controller shows 425F as the max temperature and the heating element shuts off when the grill gets hot. You can hold your hand 1 inch over the grate. Not worth the money.

This sort of light weight grill is great for Seniors. First, it is lighter weight than average grills , so you can move it anywhere you like, Secondly, it's electric. so no worries about charcoal or propane, just need and electrical cord. Thirdly, it's very easy cleanup. The only complaint I have is that there is a drip pan on the front, but nothing on the back and it does drip from the back on occasion, leaving the center rod a little messy. However, it is still a great grill. MY husband has passed and I missed his grilled burgers, and I couldn't get our heavy grill out of the garage , so I wasn't able to grill until I saw this electric grill. I've had burgers, steak and several other things on it and they all come out just like things use to on the gas grill.

Works very well, though too rack is really too close to the bottom/primary grill. Great construction - instead of the usual bag of parts, all the parts (nuts/washers) were ON the screws that they would end up on! Easily assembled as a result. Why don't other companies do this!
