Can a telephone line, tip & ring, be used to activate this horn ?

I don’t believe so, the horn requires 120 volts AC

In my experience with these, I would say about 30 watts is spot on and coincidentally, that may be the last part of the part number. The 250 may be frequency or model, -120 volts and -30 maybe watts but that is a safe bet because it's usually fed by small gauge wire.

I just installed this and my customer says it is to loud. Is there any way to reduce the noise level?

Other reviews say it is adjustable.I believe the center screw will adjust the loudness.
