The media could not be loaded.  So excited when I ordered this item, but only when I got email stating it will take over a week to get delivered I realized that this item is sent from abroad.I thought ok, fine, if it works and complies with UK/EU standards I will still be happy. But, heyho it didn’t work.The user manual is not easy to understand, maybe because it is translated literally from Chinese? So, I made sure I understood what was being said before I tested it. So I tried it the first time today, checked that the adapter was connected properly. The adapter seems to work fine, it has continuous green light on, so I switched the machine on. It starts off encouraging, blue light on, fan on, but a few seconds later the red light flashes and it starts beeping. I tried a few times with the same result.The manual indicates that this could mean No connection to the mains power, and bottom line is it will not start working. UTTERLY RUBBISH!!!I have sent an email to the supplier. Let’s see how they respond to this. If I get a replacement and it works fine then I will modify this review accordingly. Otherwise I will seek to get a refund either through them or Amazon.UPDATE 6th Feb. 2020: I ended up requesting a refund from the seller as all I could think of is the TV Program Fake Britain. I ask myself are these electrical items meeting the UK/EU standards or not? Are they actually dangerous and can cause fire? I can't see anything to this effect on the documents or on the item itself. For sure I didn't see any MAKE on the item, and there are a few similar items on Amazon, are they of the same thing?The seller demanded me to send the item back to an address in Manchester and not offering to pay for the courier fees. I paid it myself using a trackable delivery and I take that as a slap to my own wrist for relying on only 1 reviewer who gave it 5 stars and not doing a thorough research on a. The product itself, b. The vendor.So, the good news is the seller has REFUNDED me. The not so good news is that the seller puts the reason for refunding me as 'Item pricing error' not 'faulty item' and I have been hounded by them to change my reviews rating.I have never said I would change the ratings, I said I would update whether I get a respond or not. Which I have always intended to do and I have written the updates now!I have at least received 5 emails from them so far demanding me to change my ratings, I have not deleted them for my records, but I have marked them as spam so I don't have to see them if I choose not to.If you are considering buying electrical products do yourself a favour and do your research thoroughly.
