If you are a beginner in music, I would definitely recommend this, as an instrument, to enter the field, due to it'a affordability, abd simplicity. For those well versed in other instruments, it may be slightly confusing in the beginning, especially the zig-zag nature of notes (Alternating diatonic scale), however, after some practice, and running through some rudiments/exercises, it becomes much easier.I would recommend for such players, to refer to the accompanying learner's guide, along with the Internet. In fact, start watching some basic videos on tuning, scales and how(where) to put the stickers after ordering.For those who are already well versed with Kalimba, well, this is my first Kalimba so I cannot properly compare it. HOWEVER, from a intermediate Kalimba player (Kalimbist? Kalimber?), the woodwork is fantastic, there are indentations to rest your palms on the side, providing for a strong grip, the resonating holes work extremely well, the beats are clear (WUB WUB WUBBA WUB!), and the amplifier is pretty good.
