Question 1

I have a Dell E6540 would this work? I know the Intel 6235 card will

Accepted Answer

If your computer does not have an M.2 card slot it will not work, without this adapter: Bplus: M2MP1, M.2 (NGFF) to mPCIe (PCIe+USB) Adapter (Socket 1 , Key A); http://www.amazon.com/Bplus-M2MP1-mPCIe-Adapter-Socket/dp/B00JGR3ULO/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1430665217&sr=8-17&keywords=m2+to+pcie+adapter. You will also need to get these antenna wires to adapt from your wires to the M.2 card. 4 x UFL male to MHFL4 female reverse terminal wir connector 1.13 5 cm; http://www.ebay.com/itm/191546012535. I used these on my Dell Inspiron 1525 and is working better and more consistent than the Intel 7260 I had prior to this M.2 Intel 7265. Hope this helps.

Question 2

I have a laptop equipped with an intel n7260 wifi card, and like many people, I'm about to burn it. Have those issues been corrected on this models?

Accepted Answer

I Haven't yet tried it. I'm still waiting for other parts I need. It's M.2 form factor only so if your notebook uses mini pcie you will need an adapter to use an M.2 card.http://www.amazon.com/Bplus-M2MP1-N... M.2 (NGFF) Key A to mPCIe (PCIe+USB) AdapterM 2 NGFF to Mini PCI E Adapter Support M 2 Socket Ssic Based WWAN Module | eBay Also the antenna wires also need to be changed because the posts on M.2 cards that the antenna wires connect to are smaller on M.2 than those on mini pci-e cards. I'm still looking for these.I have the 7260 currently and have got to work a little better by insuring HT mode is set to VHT; and roaming aggressiveness is set to medium low and U-ASPD is disabled and disable any sleep modes. It stays connected unless I'm off for long periods of not connected to the internet.
