Cap Barbell Flat Utility Bench

This product arrived earlier than advertised. The box was a bit tattered, but everything was inside and nothing was broken. The bench was easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. The support bar runs the entire length of the padding and the board is firm. Much sturdier than the previous product I bought, which shall not be named. Good buy.

Simple to assemble and sturdy for a home gym

Very great utility bench

In general this is a great product; it fits all my expectations when I originally bought it. After approximately two months of use it shows no signs of wearing down and can easily support myself(183 pounds) and all the weights I have(olympic bar with 300lbs weights). I would highly recommend this to someone who doesn't have a very wide back, as it just barely fits mine. As long as you bench press with good form(powerlifter style), there should never be any issues with the length of the bench. The only main drawback is the width- however, like I said previously, it fits my frame(I am 6'3) and should be fine for the majority of people.

Needed a flat bench that was 17" but already have an expensive adjustable bench so didnt want to splurge. Bought this one from amazon warehouse at a discounted price and works very well. It holds up to 600lbs but its very light and doesnt take much space.

Easy to assemble

I was fortunate to be able to buy one of these at retail price this summer during the pandemic. I had tried to do floor presses with my dumbbells but that just wasn’t cutting it. Setup was pretty easy. I’ve been using this for well over a month and it’s held up so far. The plywood on one side creaks when I move. But it doesn’t reflect any unsturdiness. I don’t feel insecure. I use two 50 lbs dumbbells for chest presses. Hope this will last at least a year. If anything changes, I’ll update this review. But I definitely recommend the bench.

The bench itself is quite sturdy and an excellent value for the money. It assembles easily and quickly, and appears like it will last for many years, as long as it isn't left out in the elements or such. The only negative I have of it is that the plastic end caps for the legs are quite loose. I solved this by wrapping some black electrical tape around the part that inserts into the metal ends of the legs, to give it some thickness and keep the caps in place, but this seems like an inelegant solution to something that shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.

The bench arrived earlier than expected. Easy for one person to assemble. 4 stars because I personally need to retighten some screws more often than expected. This may be because I am not tightening them enough. The construction of the bench is overall solid. I am very satisfied with the purchase!

Good quality flat bench and very well made.

Bench is perfect. The foam thickness and size is great. Read some reviews about it being wobbly. Screws must be tightened. No wobble whatsoever. One screw was hard to put it but with loosening a screw and adjusting, everything worked out perfectly. Delivery was super quick. I wasn’t expecting this great of a bench for this price.
