Great for the kids and adults! My kids couldn't wait until I could find enough batteries to start playing. Each gun takes 4 AA batteries and I would recommend rechargeable. All you have to do is switch it on, choose your team color and choose your weapon. You start out with 3 bars (9 hearts) which can be depleted by getting shot. There are 4 different weapons to choose from. The pistol only deals one heart damage per hit but fires quickly w/out reloading very often. It has 12 shots before needing to reload. The shotgun and submachine gun deals 2 heart damage and can fire 6 times before reloading. The missile launcher deals 3 heart damage and must be reloaded after each shot. Reloading is simple with just bumping the reloader at the bottom of the gun. It was hard to get them in the bed tonight. They can't wait to battle again tomorrow! Definitely recommend.

Edit: I contacted USA Toyz and they immediately solved the issue by replacing the malfunctioning gun. They were attentive, understanding, fast and stood by their product.I am really disappointed. Could have been hours of fun, but instead I have one unhappy player. One of the guns shoots straight. The other you have to be standing no more than 10 feet away otherwise the gun doesn’t register a shot. I aimed one (White working one) directly at the other one (blue defective). It only counted 1 out of every 5-7 shots. I finally started aiming considerably lower and the hit rate increased, but was still inconsistent. When you have a gun that doesn’t work you basically don’t have a game to play. My kids played for about 10 minutes then put them down because the game wasn’t “fair”. Moved on to a different toy. I had really high hopes for these given a $60 price tag.

These Laser guns are so much fun, light weight, and small enough for even younger kids. Bought these for our boys for Christmas and the adults have just as much fun if not more. They are made with great material. This is the best company we have ever purchased from. We had one issue with a gun and they were very nice, replaced the gun no questions asked. Now we are back to playing laser tag.

Things I liked:-Came in a great carrying case with foam to keep all if the guns safe inbetween games. It makes it easy to transport around to play at friends’ houses.-The training bot is entertaining by itself for when one kid wants to play but the other ones don’t. The bot is fun to shoot.-the shots register from far away. We could use the entire backyard without ever getting out of range.-it’s easy to unpack and play quickly without having a ton of instructionThings I didn’t like:-each gun takes 4 AA batteries and the battery compartment has to be unscrewed. It takes a good amount of time to switch out dead batteries.Overall, this is an awesome set. My sons and their friends absolutely love it.

Yes, yes and yes. This was so fun to play.It’s easy to set up and get going.We had hours of fun.You get four guns and have to have FOUR AA batteries for each. So that’s a ton of AA, so know that before you get excited.It also doesn’t show when you’re low on “ammo” but I’m sure if you play enough and PayPal attention you know how many shots you can get off before you have to reload.You reload by hitting the bottom. You can change the type of gun in the middle of the game which is a fun twist.One thing I didn’t like was how bright the guns are. We were playing in the house at night and no matter where you’ve hid the lights on the gun give you away. I wish you could dim the lights as well as sound.The training bot was a hit. You shot it and it flips over. Around 75% of the time it wouldn’t flip all the way over so I had to flip it by hand- but regardless. It’s a great gaming set.But with all that said. It as worth every penny and will be used for any reason to have some fun.

We as a family have had so much fun with these laser tag guns. I love it that the life meter is easily visible right on the gun itself. I didn't even know when I purchased it that there were different modes either and those have been really fun to play around with. These only take four AA batteries, but would be much better if I got rechargeable batteries. I can see myself going through a lot of batteries, as this is something we will use all the time. We may have to get more laser tag guns so that the whole family can play!

OMG these are fun! the bugs work great out of the box and a lot of fun to shoot at. The guns do require 4 AA batteries. Though the battery compartment requires you to unscrew it, I think this is the best design to prevent it from falling out during play. I wish they would create a gun with built in re-chargable battery that can be recharged with USB plugs like the bugs that are included in the box. I wouldn't mind paying extra for that. Other then that, the guns work nicely and we didn't run into any issues. This will definitely entice the kids to get off the couch and get some exercise. I recommend you buy the two different gun sets for color and maybe extra bugs. Its awesome watching a bunch run around while the kids try to shoot them.

Not going to lie, after the kids played we replaced the batteries and my husband and I ran around the yard shooting each other. It is loads of fun for everyone. Only downside is the batteries do not stay charged. The guns are easy to carry and handle. I like how it keeps up with how many lives are left.
