Has this been redesigned?** A: I think it is the same sub. Crutchfield has the wrong dimensions listed for the P300-12T. It is 25.8" wide. Amazon has the correct dimensions. I received mine the other day, and I was glad to see that Amazon had the correct dimensions. Amazon also has a much better price. **Q: Can i use rf discount code through your amazon store?** A: not my store **Q: Hey just wondering could i build a ported box for a sealed P300-12T subwoofer?** A: They sell a ported version. **Q: So this is my first time getting a sub and it’s all in one which is nice what do i need exactly i got the wiring kit 8 gauge and rca adapter** A: You need to run a solid copper ground wire, at least as thick AWG as the power wire (sounds like you’re using 8 AWG), from the sub’s ground input to your vehicle chassis. Make sure the ground point is good (use a multimeter to test). You may need to grind some paint off a metal surface to create a solid ground to the chassis. Run your power cable from the battery to the sub. Use a 75amp fuse on this run. Connect the fuse closer to the battery than the sub. Run an additional, very thin gauge wire (such as 18) to the amp turn on of the sub input. This wire controls power to the sub , so you don’t want it always on because that would drain your battery. You can hook up your car’s antenna 12v to this sub turn on, for example, since the car automatically turns off power to the antenna. The RCA you can either run from some existing speakers using a LOC or run the RCA connected directly to your head unit (stereo). In my Mustang, I used a LOC to connect the sub directly to my rear speakers in the trunk. I was really worried that a 10 wouldn't be "enough" bass and originally had my heart set on the 12, but space is at a premium in a Ram 1500 Quad Cab.​The Setup:I recently overhauled the entire audio system in my truck, swapping the stock head unit for a Kenwood DMX4710S and upgrading all the door and dash speakers to Pioneers. For the install, I used the Skar Audio 8-gauge OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) kit—it’s a solid, high-quality kit that handles the power perfectly.​Fitment & Practicality:Just a heads-up for fellow Ram owners: even though this is a "truck" box, it still does not fit under the rear bench seat. However, it takes up much less room on the rear floorboard behind the driver or passenger seat compared to a standard enclosure. One of the best features is the portability—if I ever need the extra floor space, I can simply unplug the power/ground wiring harness and the speaker input harness, and the whole unit pops right out.​The Performance:My concerns about the sealed box and the smaller driver were completely unnecessary.
