However, after approximately one year of commuting nearly every week day (~4000 miles) the battery range has decreased from nearly a 40 mile range at full assist to less than 20 mile range at full assist. Also worth noting that without assist, this bike is almost impossible to ride as a normal bike; the hub motor provides considerable rolling resistance even when off. Overall I am happy with the bike and it's performance considering it's relatively low cost; but I don't think the bike will be usable after two years without a replacement battery which is important to consider when comparing to other E bikes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A really well made bike *by J***. on June 22, 2017* I bought this bike as an upgrade to my Electro Dash.
