Can this be used to extend the length of a game controller? i bought them but they won't work on my logitech f310. what am i doing wrong?

I bought them for the same reason; you're not doing anything wrong. Like other reviewers have said, they're either mis-wired or dead on arrival. You're probably better off returning them.

Yes. Just insert male end of one cord into one side of the extension adaptor, then insert male end of another cord into the other side of the adaptor. I use the adaptor this way to extend cord length so I can connect devices to chargers in the only electrical outlet in my room.
