PneumaticPlus SAR400-N04BG Compressed Air Pressure Regulator 1/2" NPT - Bracket, Gauge

Update 10/19/2022: I contacted the company and spoke with Richard who wanted me to check and see if it was installed backwards (air flow). I was pretty sure that was not the issue since I just piped my garage and installed two other filter/regulators without any issues. Well, went home and checked it and sure enough it was installed backwards. Switched it around and pressurized the system and all is good, no leaks. This does seem to be a well-made product and I expect it to last quite a long time. Customer service is what usually separates one company/seller from another and they were quick to respond when contacted. I'm glad it was a simple fix and I didn't have to go through the returning or refund to purchase another one. Purchased this for my home compressor that I just completed the max line install. This thing leaked from day one. I lowered the pressure and locked it down which stopped the initial leak. This system isn’t used much at the moment so a few weeks went by and today I aired up the compressor and this thing started leaking like crazy. I guess I’ll try to contact the seller and look into a refund or replacement. I know there are always bad items no matter who manufactures something so hoping this isn’t a real quality control issue. We will see how this goes. I’ll post back if this gets handled or not.

This is the second regulator I’ve bought from Pneumatic Plus. Very happy with both regulators. Heavy duty feel to them and they appear to be well made. No leaks after install and pressure gauges measure pretty accurate. I can’t see spending hundreds of dollars on a top of the line regulator for just being a home hobbyist and amateur bike builder. I’ve tried a number of different regulators for my 60 gallon Ingersoll Rand Compressor most have resulted in failure after a few months even as little as 1 day. If I need any more regulators in the future Pneumatic Plus will be my first choice.

No leaks, good quality, and accurate compared to other gauges. I am using with rapidair maxline distribution in a home shop. Mounted vertical to simplify the installation down the wall. Make sure you flow the airflow when installing the pressure gauge.

Have a '99 Ford E450 Krystal LimoBus, and this regulator was used for dialing in rear suspension. Not sure if it was factory or not. However the old one starting leaking, so replaced with same unit (this one). Works great, easy to turn knob to dial in pressure. Works as it should!

Not the most expensive unit, but is operating as needed after only the first few hours. Easy assembly and installation for anyone with some piping experience. Pretty satisfied with performance. Pressure adjustment a bit stiff, but with this pressure rating, the internal spring needs to be appropriately rated, so no big deal.

It does exactly what i wanted. Its attached to an air gun and that will be its only function in the near future.

Very nice pressure gauge, nice wall mount, and easy to use. Would recommend it for a hobby garage such as mine. I’m not commercial, but use air a lot for sand blasting, etc,
