The light from the stock halogen back-up bulbs on our Dodge Ram 2300 were paltry and pitiful. These (3157) LED bulbs are a low-cost improvement over the useless halogen back-up bulbs.These LED bulbs don't produce a weird cast pattern from our Dodge Ram 2300; no issues with dark spots, etc.The 1200 lumen output seems accurate, I also installed 1200 lumen LED bulbs from another brand on my hatchback and in comparison the light output from both vehicles is nearly identical. I say "nearly" only because my hatchback reverse lights are a wee-bit brighter, but this is due to the truck having 'pixelated' bulb covers, in contrast, my hatchback has clear covers.I can't comment on durability yet, but I will update if these bulbs fail sooner than expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Only a Slight Improvement for Me *by T***J on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2019* Installed into a Jeep Wrangler. Only slightly brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs. It's saving grace is the color of it's light.
