It works quite well after some fitting pains with the hoses and alignment. Excellent grip for logs up to 8’ x 12”. No Zirks so you have to do your own grease fittings. Review: Not for heavy use - I bought this for building a laser plane for a mini skid steer and it’s ok but the biggest issue I have with it is, when it’s not connected to anything it drifts down and the blade isn’t very heavy, maybe 100-120 lbs. the valve is new so I know that’s not the issue. If your looking for a cheap cylinder that doesn’t have to hold weight in the air I would recommend this one but overall I’m not sure I would buy this one again. I’m sure in a horizontal application it would do great but vertical use isn’t its strong suit.
