I reviewed these pens a few months ago with a much better rating but had to downgrade my rating and re-write my review after having used (or tried to use) the pens for a while. If you want a beautiful piece of bamboo to look at, this is it. But if you want a pen that writes, this is NOT it. I had 6 of these pens (manufacturer refunded the money for the first set, as only one pen worked, so I bought another set) and over time, every single one of them crapped out. They worked great for the length of one grocery list, or writing one check (anyone still write checks besides me?) and then they just quit. All 6 of them did this. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with 6 pieces of bamboo but they do look nice.

Its great to know that the pens are being made from real bamboo and not from plastic that will end up in a landfill or the ocean as if there isn't already enough plastic in it. Great idea and very eco friendly.

I did write with one and thought it wrote very nice and was comfortable to hold. I brought them for a gift bag so I won't be using them. But thank you.

I purchased 30 of these pens ..love that each one is unique. a really nice feel to hold and use.love that it's a renewable resource. Out of the 30 pens only 1 did not write

These pens are so cute and, best of all, are Eco-Friendly! All of the pens write well and they are very unique.

I bought these to match a theme party I was having. They seem good, and came in the perfect size box to store them in for next time I want to use them!
