The label on the bottom of the show reads "40."I prefer to wear a size 8W. This gives me the most comfortable fit. However, since 8W is not often offered, I will buy size 8.5 to accommodate the width of my feet. I then have to add thick gel heel inserts in the back to stop my heel from popping out, which will happen without the insert. Based on the reviews by others, I bought Size 9. I think they fit perfectly. The toe box area is made of a very soft material and began stretching within a few hours. My foot is 9.5 inches long, if that helps. I just have to state how darn sexy these slippers are. I am wearing them at the office, which is carpeted. They look exactly as pictured. I am ordering a second pair in size 9 (40) to use around the house, which is tiled. I wish the green, pink, and white pairs came in 9 as well. If they did, I would buy one in each color.
