Got this for our older one and she figured it out pretty quickly. We have a newborn too, so honestly my favorite part is that all the shapes stay attached lol. I’m already picking up enough stuff off the floor and it’s nice not having to hunt for missing pieces. She likes pulling the shapes out and trying to push them back through the different openings. It’s also small enough to throw in the diaper bag when we go out. A little smaller than I expected for the price, but it’s been a good toy for her.

I bought this toy for long car rides and my girl currently loves it. At 19 months it’s the perfect size for her hands; I bought it for her around 12 months old and it was a bit bulky for her at the time. The shapes are a rubbery material with nylon cords holding them to the cube and they haven’t frayed or broken. I like that the strings are long enough for my girl to experiment with which pocket the shape might go into while also being anchored fairly close to the corresponding pocket. She’s starting to put the shapes in correctly now! I’d say this was a worthwhile purchase for a car toy, especially since she can’t drop and lose any of the shapes.

Grandson enjoyed his first birthday, and this was one of his two favorite toys. Mission accomplished!

I like that the shapes can’t be lost. Good you for the money and entertaining for babies. I gave a 4 because one of the shapes is hard to get in. Good quality toy otherwise

This is a great brain development gift. My 1 year old pal loves it. It’s entertaining, challenging, brightly colored & you can chew on it. Checks all the boxes when you’re 1

I found nothing wrong with this toy, and everything right. It's a soft plastic and while I am not sure, it must be toxin free. But being soft, it enticed my 1 year old grandson to touch it and play with it. The colors are also enticing. The pieces being tied to the block is brilliant as there's nothing to get lost! He has an 'older' sister, 2 and a half, who showed him how to do it, but it was just difficult enough to keep him engaged and trying. Not just squares and circles, triangles, there's oblong too, so this breaks away from the 'establishment' of teaching the same shapes over and over again. Kids need to learn about variation! I would create one more shape or take away a standard one and that's about all I would do to change this. I prefer to give wooden toys to my grands but this toy was enticing enough to break from that tradition.

My two year old knows where to put the shapes but they have a little tiny ridge around the base of them that make it hard to get them in their spots unless you line them up perfectly. I think this is so they don't just fall back out, but it makes it pretty frustrating for my daughter when she can't get them in. It's super nice because it's all one piece and the shapes are attached. That makes it great for car rides!

Of all the shape toys I have purchased over the years, this is the best...no mission pieces !

It was small enough to eliminate clutter, but big enough for little hands to grasp. Loved the soft rubber and colours.
