A: They hold up well. I was a little messy getting them off. They did start to fade after about 6 months. It all depends on how much you play. They are a fun way to add unique style to your guitar.

**Q: do have to remove strings to put them on?or can you slide them on?**

You could put them on by sliding strings.
Of course it is possible to remove strings for installation.
