2 year review of this bed May 4th 2024: It has held up beautifully. It's still just as beautiful now as the day I assembled it. It's durable, easy to clean, and still a bed I enjoy coming home to. I've had no issues with tears, breaking, weakening, fading in color, nothing. I would buy this bed again and again, fortunately I have not had to though. If you buy this bed you will not be disappointed. I absolutely LOVE this bed! My husband surprisingly loves it as well. Not only is this velvet soft to the touch, the perfect color, it fits our adjustable base, and It's got pockets!! Ok, not pockets exactly. But i feel like it's a detail I would share about a dress that has pockets. It's got STORAGE! Lots of it too. Important to note that the storage at the end of the bed DOES have springs to keep it opened without taking the whole "seat" off. The storage on the sides of the bed DO NOT have spring loaded "seats" you have to take off the entire length of the seat or hold it with one hand while grabbing for whatever with the other. I got tired of holding it open or taking them off so my husband and I went to the local hardware store and fixed that to our liking. Things to add: I was worried about the storage spaces holding full body weight.. like you know? Full body weight... I'm married to a body builder so he is very muscle heavy, I was worried he would stand up on the sides and it collapse or break. There is absolutely no issue with that. The height is perfect for numerous reasons, but mostly because I use it as a small step to get out of our tall bed. 😅 Anyway i hardly ever write a review on Amazon, but this was worth it! Adding that is Dec '22 and we've had it since May '22. May come back at Year mark to update again.

I’M IN LOVE!!! This bed is beautiful really. I was kind of nervous after placing this order due to some of the reviews on the company that ships this item. Also because I didn’t have and or wasn’t provided tracking information. Once I corresponded my contact information with the shipping company I think things went smoother. I received my item, and it arrived in 3 BIG boxes. I live in an apartment and had to bring it upstairs to the room I was putting it in. I’ve only had it a short time (received item yesterday), and have 1 negative thing to say. Most furniture or items you buy that have to assembled label (put numbers and or letters) on the different parts of that item. There were no labels or numbers to distinguish if “Leg A” is the side rail or storage compartment. The instructions aren’t all that helpful, and the screws, bolts, & washers all just came in 1 orange bag lumped together. You kind of had to just figure it out or get the best out of what you could with the instructions provided. ALL-IN-ALL it’s put together and I absolutely LOVEEEE it so far. I’ve been looking at this style bed or more so the round one that is similar to this one for sometime. I had 1 dilemma I don’t/didn’t really like low laying beds, but I have a base/box spring then my mattress on top. It’s really nice! Can’t wait to get a new mattress and comforter for my new set up

i got the blue one, and this bed is the most gorgeous bed i've ever owned. i feel like royalty in the Moulin Rouge or something, haha- it's so awesome. it IS huge, so make sure you measure your room accordingly. i got the full size one so i would still have enough space in my small bedroom. i put it together solo, and i am a handy female. the packages it arrives in are very heavy, so be prepared for that with either some help or a good lifting practice at the gym. (i did all of this, including bringing the boxes inside by myself) if you're assembling it solo, set aside maybe half a day or a few hours, and you will need the space to put it together. the instructions are easy to follow, and everything seemed very well made. my only complaint is that there were a few upholstery staples that came loose on the inside piping of bench top seat for the side that were sharp and found by my fingers, but i was only slightly pricked, and able to remove those loose staples without it seeming to effect the bench at all. the foot of the bed opens via hinges, and the sides are compartments with the length of the bench seat serving as lids which you have to lift off in order to access storage- but they are not heavy and very easy to take on and off whenever. the blue velvet is absolutely stunning and so rich in color. it's very very soft and silky to touch, and there was no strong smell of any kind, which is great because i'm sensitive to chemical smells that often come with online purchases. i could not be happier. it was well worth the price even though i could barely afford the purchase.

I’ve loved this style bed for about a year now however it was too expensive. I compared prices from other retailers and Amazon was the most cost effective option. I pulled the trigger and purchased my dream bed. The black king was always sold out, but I was able to grab one after stalking it everyday for weeks. After ordering the bed I was given the option to select a delivery time. March 25, 2022 6am-9am was the lucky day. I donated my old bed and cleared my bedroom in anticipation while sleeping on the sofa for a week waiting. I hired a handyman to assemble the bed, while I worked from home. I waited and waited all day on March 25, 2022 no bed. I called the customer service 800 number and was told to call the local office for accurate information. I called the local office looking delivery details on my bed and the phone would ring then hang up. I had to cancel the handyman which led to additional frustration. I called the next day Saturday and the independent delivery company voicemail prompted they were closed on the weekend. Slept on the sofa until Monday and was told my precious almost 2k bed was lost in transit. But it was found later that day and I need to select another delivery date. Luckily they were able to deliver it Tuesday afternoon. The boxes finally arrived in 3 huge boxes. *FYI* the headboard n footboards are massive. If you live in an apartment or condo with an elevator, the king is not going to fit. If you have sharp corners to your bedroom, it’ll be hard to fit. Instructions were vague however assembly wasn’t too complicated. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase minus the delivery blunders.

love love the bed only issue is the screws over 80 was mixed and not labeled so was hard to set some apart . overall bed parts clean and no dents ….reported the delivery company they used was horrible was suppsed to be in door delivery and they left outside after i beg them to slide in door being im a female amd ill drag it in to make ir easier they refused and left

I want to first start by saying it’s everything I wanted from the first time I laid eyes on this bed! Very easy to put together, the color I got was grey and it’s beautiful, it’s very sturdy, I’ve seen reviews about the wooden slats, but I have no issues with mine, it could be because I have a good friend memory foam mattress that’s super think, my mattress fits perfectly and I don’t need a box spring to make it sit higher like I thought, my only con is I got this bed because I live in a loft with minimal closet space, and Mrs do too much (points at self) got a bed that was way too big for my area in my loft where my bedroom furniture should be, so it’s in my living room, it’s hard to explain how much this actually works for me because it’s like a studio apartment that has an upper area and now that’s where my couch will go! Love my bed it WAS NOT going back!

The bed came damaged, they offered to send me a new one after they get the old one or give me a discount. I asked if they could send me a new bottom ottoman and a smaller discount and never heard back. They did give me a refund on a price difference that happened the day after I bought it, which was really nice. If you sit on the bottom ottoman the padding and tufts become ugly and flat(probably after about 6 months I noticed). We don’t sit on it regularly or for long periods of times. My kids sometimes sit on it when telling us something or if I throw my shoes on some times I sit on it. The wooden slats suck but easy fix. The side storage is pretty thin but still useful. Honestly you get what you pay for and if you were to buy a bed like this at an actual furniture store it would easily double in price if not more. I got a king and it’s absolutely massive, make sure you measure your room. It’s an absolutely stunning bed and easy to clean. I do wish it held up better, and I was absolutely ruthless when it came to taking care of it. No jumping or walking on the ottomans, no dogs in the bedroom anymore. Although there are a few faults I would buy again.
