Great Set!
We are very pleased with this set. The pot is heavy cast iron and provides even heat distribution. It has nice enamel inside and out with the blue colored pot. It comes with a decent recipe for basic cheese fondue. We make the fondue on our stove top and once it is done, place it on the stand for serving. The forks that are provided are also good quality. Note: it is important to "season" the pot before every use to ensure easy clean-up. instructions for seasoning are included.

Pot too heavy
I love everything about this fondue set. But another reviewer did warn me that the cast iron pot may be too heavy for "those of a certain age". So if you're elderly, this set is not for you. I purchased a black clay pot and now have a wonderful fondue set.

Loved this fondue set. Although it takes a while to heat up. Recommended to give some heating time to heat up to melt the cheese.
