Well built, and has made a difference in my workflow
This little jack stand lift works great. I love it. Instead of constantly shifting my camera around to try and capture a macro subject in the frame, I can move the subject to the camera using this lift. It's much easier and less time-consuming. It seems to be well built, and it's held up well. Overall, I think it's a good product which I found quite useful.

Perfect as a lift for Compact Router
I was looking for a small lift for my Makita RT0701C Compact Router and came across this lab jack. At a very reasonable price, it is exactly what I needed. I built a small support to attach it to the legs of my Black & Decker Workmate on which my DIY router table is mounted. The lab jack enables me to adjust the router bit in fine increments and then I lock the router in place. Works like a charm. To make everything run smooth, I put a few drops of oil on the thread and also the scissor connections and sliding channels. I also do macro photography and this little guy will come in handy to adjust small objects in front of the lens. Great purchase!

A little rough out of the box, but a little tweaking made it smooth and handy
I needed this to hold up a HVAC housing under a dash. It worked pretty well. Raising it was hard out of the box. I lubricated the threads and all pivot points, made some adjustments to the friction nuts and got it working much better. Id buy one again because, this type of lift jack is hard to find, so it was worth the price, even after having to mess with it. I'll be adding a non-slip pad on the top surface.

The laboratory lifting jack, it holds my...
This review is best read to the tune of "The Grand Old Duke of York" The laboratory lifting jack, it holds my specimen. It lifts it up to the top of it's will. And lowers it down again. And when it is up, it is up. And when it is down, it is down. When it is only half way up, it is neither up nor down. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Seriously though...This lab lift is well designed, works well, holds where it's set. Tight enough to hold, but not enough to hinder smooth action. I use it in my macro studio to lift my specimen stage for positioning the subject in front of the lens.

Very well built and sturdy adjustable jack stand
Excellent adjustable stainless steel stand. Very well made and very stable. Easy to adjust height. Extremely happy with this. I those this one due to very high reviews by prior customers and agree with the praise they gave. Strong recommendation!

Perfect for my laser level
I use this for adjusting my laser level when I am on a job site. We used to stack up pieces of wood to get the correct height. This is so easy to dial in and the size fits our levels perfectly. The compact size even fits in the laser level carrying case

Vaporizer assembly
I have this lab jack going up and down to get the herb holder of this vaporizer into and out of battery. Every time we want to load/unload the contents of the herb changer this lab jack going up and down almost its entire travel. It has so far probably done this cycle 200 or 300 times, and so far everything is still smoothly functioning. Will update in a few months. And if anyone is curious, that is an Aromed Vaporizer... it is a 1 of a kind herb vaporizing system. Noone else has ever made anything like it. UPDATE I have gmhad this setup for several months, and would like to write an update to tue review. The Lan jack has probably run its travel 1000 times at this point, and I have started to feel the wear and tear. This lab jack was not designed to go up and down 100 thousand of times. It has developed slack in the mechanism. Originally the design was to run the travel every time it needed loading and unloading, but it is well on its way to wearing out. Since starting to see the slack, I have changed the design of my system. Now, I set the lab jack to work with the position of the goose neck. To go from loading mode to operating mode, now I have a spacer. I am going to try and attach a photo of this new setup

Strong little unit with a design flaw.
This seems good quality to me. Robust little unit that won't fail with first use. Issue I have is, when trying to raise the unit while supporting any weight, the turn knob, which is wound onto a left hand section of thread on the screw rod becomes undone. This is because the rest of the raising screw is right handed, meaning you must turn clockwise to raise the platform. This however is the direction you turn the knob to remove it from the device. So, you see, trying to lift the platform undoes the knob. There is no way to lock the knob tight unless you find an additional left handed lock nut. You try and find one of those! The good thing about this is, when lowering a weight, the knob gets tightened. Not sure that suits me though. Will continue to try and figure out a 'fix.'
