Beautiful vibrant color
I absolutely love this product, I have bought it multiple times and I will keep buying it it is not too extreme and I get so many compliments on it. The directions are straightforward two bottles mix them together wait a few minutes it's perfect for an easy hair dye. It lasts anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks but it definitely starts toning down about three to four weeks in.

Love it.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I ended up using 2-3 boxes because i have pretty thick hair and let me tell you, it is SO vibrant, and so, so pretty. when you add a lot like i did, i find that it makes the dye more colorful which is why i got a slightly fainted result on my first dye and a nice and deep result on my third. I also included a photo of before i dyed my hair to show how well the dye works. I have dirty blonde hair. i think it worked really well.

Great color, love it
I love this hair color! I buy it again and again. It has great coverage, even on my unbleached hair (though it's brighter on bleached hair). And it fades nicely into a soft pink. It also does NOT stain my tub when I rinse it in the shower. Woohoo!

Formula change?
Update (October 2023) - It appears the formula has changed as the box recommends it only for people who have bleached all other color out of their hair. I tried it anyway (on my color treated brown hair) and it seems like it didn't dye all of my hair and the color is uneven (I have now read this may be my fault due to residual styling products). I wash my hair daily so it should fade rather quickly and then I'll color it again in four weeks. In sum - Received many compliments on this color, even at least one from a total stranger in the park. For 7-10 days (three shampoos), the color is fuchsia, then fades to a pinky red. People liked the color even after 8 weeks. I left the solution in my hair for 60 minutes. (The time I only did 40 minutes, I was disappointed with the result.) After a three times using this color, I was ready for a change, but I would definitely buy this color again. Day One - I just colored my hair this morning, so I probably shouldn't be writing a review yet. But so far I love it! I used "Garnier Olia Bold Ammonia Free Permanent Hair Color, 5.12 Medium Royal Amethyst, Purple Hair Dye" four weeks ago and the results were pretty subtle, especially after my first shampoo. With this color, I don't need to be in direct light for the color to be seen, and I even had to adjust my normal makeup palette to make up for all the color. (My natural color is light to medium brown.) There was an odor but it wasn't overwhelming. I will update this review as to color and shine retention at a later date. If the love continues, I am going to use this color again even when quarantine ends. Three weeks after coloring - I adored this color at first, but three weeks in and I am a redhead. Luckily, it is still a pinkish red and not orange or brassy, but red really wasn't the color I was going for. I have attempted to maintain the original color by cutting down on my hair washing from six times a week to three times a week. I have another box of color on its way and I think I will use it next week and see how it goes the second time. On the plus side, I haven't seen any of my grey hairs since I used this color. Four weeks after coloring - I got my hair cut for the first time in a long time, and the stylist really like my hair color. She seemed surprised that it had been four weeks since I colored my hair and that the color had lasted so well. I told her I was washing my hair only three times a week and I don't use sulfate shampoos.

Bright! Exactly what I wanted (update - faded)
Update: itโs been about 5 weeks and it has faded a lot. Itโs a sort of rose gold colour now. It still looks nice but itโs definitely faded much quicker than I expected considering this is a permanent dye. ................... This turned out exactly how I wanted. I have extremely dark hair, so over the course of a few weeks I bleached a couple of times and used purple shampoo to calm down some of the brassiness. I used this dye as directed, left on for 25 minutes, maybe a little longer. It took AGES to rinse out of my hair - almost an hour until the water ran completely clear (I didn't want to risk drying it too early and staining my clothes or sheets). I think I put too much mixture on for the amount of hair I have which is why that might have happened. There was some mixture left over too (I put the dye all over my head not just the roots so that the dark hair will have a sheen in the sunlight). All in all, I'm extremely satisfied. I'm not experienced with dying my own hair, but I'm so happy I picked this colour. I mainly picked this one because it's bright, and because it's a permanent dye. I was worried about the semi-permanent ones staining things and running. Here's a pic of before and after. I'm so happy with the results!

Fairly Easy, Looks Good, and Doesnโt Fade Quickly
Love this hair dye. Fairly easy to do, if you follow the instructions, and the results are pretty nice. I always leave it on slightly longer to ensure that it takes better to the hair. Also, it doesnโt fade very quickly either.

good coverage, NO color variation, not pink
Naturally I have very dark brown hair with about 20% gray. I've been bleaching and coloring my hair at home for years now and as the package directed I waited the 2 (actually 3) weeks between bleaching and coloring. By then my dark roots were starting to show, and the rest of my hair varied between light blonde and absolutely white, depending on which parts had been bleached more. I was hoping that since my hair varied in color my end result would also have some variance, but NOPE; all of it is the darkest color pictured on the box. There is nothing fuchsia about the color, it's burgundy; possibly a "dark raspberry" but not nearly as pink as I would have liked or expected given how light my hair was to start with. The GOOD NEWS was that this did color my dark roots and grays just as well as it did the bleached parts so if you're looking to color without having to bleach (as often), I would totally give this a try. I've washed it 3 times now and it's still very dark; my concern is that as it fades it's going to go orange so I'm trying to figure out my next move. All and all it's not bad, just not what was pictured on the box and it did cover the dark roots so I'm sure there is someone out there for whom it will be perfect.

Bold fuchsia on dark hair - no bleach needed
Really happy with how this turned out. I used it on dark brown hair and got a deep, rich fuchsia with a nice shimmer: dark and saturated rather than bright, which I actually loved. Didn't expect it to show up so well on dark hair without bleaching first. The formula applied smoothly, didn't drip, and my hair felt soft afterward. The conditioner included in the box was surprisingly good. The color faded gradually and evenly over time, which I actually appreciated - no patchy roots or weird tones, just a slow and natural fade. Overall a great bold shade that delivers on its promise. Will repurchase.

As expected!
I don't usually expect a colour to turn out so well, but it did! I had bleached my hair (from black) to a very light blonde a week before. When I put this colour in, it was perfect to the colour on the box. The fading was very slight in the last two months but still very close to the colour on the box. I'm very impressed!

Perfect!
Love this dye. Itโs so much better than the semi permanent ones because it doesnโt fade!!! Find me on Instagram @maidenmothercroneca to see more pics of the beautiful colour!
