I am usually an XL but found the L size more than adequate. Long in length but with a pull cord either side at the bottom, this is easily sorted...and keeps the cold out! There is also a cord to pull the collar in tighter if needed, note the collar has limited padded, but zips fully up to the top.Jacket works equally well with either green side or beige side out, both sides having zipped waist side pockets. Although the online photo showed a central rank slide and Norwegian flag on one arm on the beige side, my jacket had neither.This is a very warm jacket, I have worn it in -6C, and for £30-odd...It's a bargain. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant Jacket!!!! Excellent service *by P***E on 8 May 2015* Amazing jacket! This jacket is brilliant when you first try it on you realise how soft and light it is. It comes with great features such as zip pockets, bungee cords at the top and bottom of the jacket to make it fit better as well to keep the cold air out, the jacket is also reversible and comes with own bag to store it in. I'm glad to say the jacket is 100% brand new!! The seller was also really helpful as I accidentally ordered a medium instead of a small and changed it without a problem.
